Tysm for this video :)) I am shifting from another curriculum to A levels and 90% people are telling me that I can't do it. ( gotta prove them wrong hehe ) I love how detailed and specific the video is. Can't wait to get started :))
You are an absolute Godsend. Such a detailed yet concise, straightforward video, not to mention the aesthetic editing! Sending you nothing but blessings because it's 1am right now and you have given me the most positive start to my day! 💕💕
Thank you! Good luck with AS exams. In terms of memorisation, try teaching it to someone, or talking through your flash cards out loud! Don’t feel disheartened if you haven’t memorised the content completely after doing this, the more questions you practice the more you’ll find yourself remembering the content - this is the most important step!
I don’t understand 6:40. So questions specific to the topic but then after u want us the practice questions on the topic when we come back in April. I don’t understand ? isn’t that the same thing ?
Hi Aymara! These tips were so so great :) I was wondering which of these tips I should prioritise if I don't have much time to study for chemistry? A backstory: I have chosen to do a LOT of maths (it will make up 40% of my grade lol) and English is my weakest, so I have been focusing on those two subjects lately. This unfortunately led me to neglect chem and bio, and so I'm not doing amazing (just ok) in exams. (I am not doing GCSEs, so the timeline for exams would be different, but I know the content for chemistry should be quite similar)
im in year 11 rn, i got 7s last yr in chem and for my mock i just did i got an 8, do u think that chemistry a level would be too hard or would i be fine?
i really want to be doing past paper questions because i know i need the practice but i don’t even know where to start with them i can’t wrap my head around chem it’s even worse from doing online school :( i’m in year 12 so i’m hoping there’s time to salvage my grade but i struggle so much i don’t even know where to start
I’m sorry to hear! Seriously you just need to start doing them and don’t worry if you don’t know the content beforehand! Research has shown that doing practice questions is better than rereading notes. So get stuck in and do past papers and even if you get everything wrong look at the Mark scheme and remember the corrections
I’m really struggling in as I was predicted an A at the start of the year as I got a 9 in gcse but now I’m getting Ds I’m feeling so demotivated and with exams for predicted grades coming up so soon I don’t know what to do…
Hi by note taking did you write out your notes only onto flashcards or on a bigger sheet then condense it down? I have a huge problem of not being able to summarise as all the information seems relevant 🤦♀️
I used my class notes to make these! My tip is to not write anything in your notes you already known - only things you don’t (like don’t write calcium is a metal or atoms are small kind of thing)
I 10000% agree with the past paper questions. I honestly do not bother with taking notes, and just do fuck tons of past paper questions. However I do have anki with 524 flashcards for all topics. So we using them. And that but tysm for these tips !!
Hello, I am a high school senior student. I have my SAT in 2 months, my APs in 4 months, CLEP in 5 months, board exams in 4 months and one subject test in 4 months. ( i gave one subject test and got 800, and 1400 in SAT but will give again.) My board is an indian board (CBSE). i was wondering, should i give AS and A level in 3 subjects in june? I am pretty sure I already know a lot of syllabus as it overlaps from other tests but I am still unsure and very confused. Do tell please....
Can you please share the flashcards that you showed in this video? :)I'm currently finding it challenging to catch up on the content and I have my exams in a few weeks :(
ADZZ.S1 its about a 30 min walk from the medical school (which even if you’re on campus you’ll have to do to get there), and there will be medics there. Also the interior is certainly a lot nicer than where I am based so yeah, go for it! Congratulations on getting a place!
Watching this video and my b didn’t magically change to an a*. Unsubscribed. (Jk) also seeing your room after actually being there is such a different experience. Ps if you needed example flash cards I’ve got a fucking mountain I’m the flashcard king

i know this was a year ago and idk if you still reply or not but i wanted to ask: how many hours approximately should an A* student be studying?
I hope that i at least pass my chem exam tomorrow rofl and maintain my C grade. A LEVEL chem is torturing
im in year 11 rn, i got 7s last yr in chem and for my mock i just did i got an 8, do u think that chemistry a level would be too hard or would i be fine?

amazing!!!
Anki is essentially taking notes but your converting spec to questions and textbook to model answers.
how did you make anki cards to learn practicals? idk what style to make them
A2 Physics Is easy and Chem also but i make some blunder in chem,Pray For me as I have Chem p4 Tomorrow.
Is there a possibility you could share these notes on somewhere, or even sell them online?
apologies I no longer have them :(
