Few points found early
1) Okay for small stakes upped to a £100 EW bet and doesn’t seem to get taken / along time to get matched
2) The company don’t have protection of funds yet, been told applying for medium in a few weeks
3) Customer service are superb and knowledgable

No premium charge either ! Their servers are always up. There was once problem ...for a few mins....but only because they were switching over to a newer version of their platform.

@@CaanBerryProTrader This looks really good in theory but It's almost impossible to get a bet matched. How did you manage to get so many on? The vast majority of bets are stopped with 0% matched. No different from asking for the same price on an exchange and hoping to get matched, apart from the commission, as far as I can see. Would love this to work but can't see how it can as it stands. Unless someone is willing to lay your bet at the bookie odds, your bet is stopped. Also, in reality, there are stake restrictions. You are always limited to the amount someone is willing to lay. No different than a regular bookmaker or exchange really. The only bets I got matched were those that drifted on the exchanges.

If you placed 69 bets at £20 a bet (small sample size), that means your total stakes with £1,380. To make £1,070 in profit means you made an ROI of 77.54%. This as I'm sure you're aware is totally unstainable and shows your ran incredibly well during this period. Not saying you won't profit long term but beating the Industry SP on 75% of bets is not particularly hard. That doesn't mean you'll make a profit doing this long-term at all. When you say 'beating the industry starting price', it's really easy to beat the industry starting price... what is hard is being the Betfair starting price after commission. That's what you need to do to make money. Beating the industry starting price is not difficult.
Maybe you should enlighten us all with your own approach to beating the bookie in the same manner Caan gives up his valuable time to do, any takers?
I think Caan should reply to El personally and Garry, everybody who do these videos are not giving their time for nothing otherwise they would not do it. Every video you see on RUclips says at the beginning please like and subscribe and that you need to watch the video to the end. Why do they all say the same? Because the bigger your audience watching to the end puts a great amount of money into their pockets from RUclips. You need to read up.

I've used them also but for the time I was using it there were too few opportunities to make anything out of it. That was a few years ago now so it may have changed. Nice video again keep me coming!

I tried using them a while back, but there were hardly ever any bets available. There might occasionally be 1 horse available at every other race if I was lucky and the prices were always worse than the exchange

On the back of this video I decided to join up and to be fair I found the fact that this is really good at getting the bigger prices that I look for in races. Its not unusual to find double digit odds against single figure SPs, which is clearly good value👍

Wait, what's the catch? 😂 I used to do live arbitrage betting until the main bookies scuppered me. Will it be possible to use betconnect to do this again? Using bookies such as betfair, PP and skybet? Or do the bets need to be placed a while before event? And what about stake restrictions?

Great video Caan , have you noticed those slippery bookings that claim "best odds guarantee" do not pay you out at the best odds if they have a "boost" in the same race eg , paying 4 places instead of 3 , even if you do win only they dont pay you out at the larger odds if enhanced place boost , pure greed
Betfair will all the others wont
This is only with skybet that I know of. They decided some time ago that with their 'extra place' races they could avoid BOG. This was obviously a marketing decision as they worked out the races they offer the extra places on (which btw is always 1/5 the odds instead of the usual 1/4) were going to be more profitable than including BOG.
But there is also usually a stipulation with the bookies that offer 'boost' that if you take that offer you don't get other offers like BOG.
Beating the BSP is surely a better indicator of value than beating the ISP. You could just place a back bet on Betfair and take the starting price each time and you'd beat ISP in the vast majority of cases.
It is, the majority of selections beat the BSP too, although not all.
Tried this about a year ago all bets that come up to lay was higher than bookies and betfair lay prices , deposited and withdrawn within 24 hours

Nice. At the point of placing the bets, could you still get better prices on the exchange though? Would this same strategy have been easier and more profitable on the exchange? My experience with BC was it was impossible to arb with.
Yes most of the time the prices shortened after.

Impressive results, would have been nice to hear more about how youi were picking the runners. .It seems to be another version of an exchange more than something to do with bookies, other than maybe it's using bookies to determine whatever the price for a runner will be. I think Betfair's exchange usually has the best prices but will look into this more, I'm only wondering if the liquidity is there, if there are any "premium" charges and how they charge commission. Oh, and is there an API to automate betting the betting? Anyway, I'll have a look.

The concept is great and I use it to get single odds with bookies I’m banned with, generally hills for big football fixtures and have never had a problem getting on with them. Couple draw backs include extra place races and 365s 4/1 offer. If they could somehow incorporate this into their product I would place all bets with them unless I could get better on the exchange of course.

Bookmakers don't bann you as easily as this guy claims. He must be do dodgy stuff. I make my living betting on Greyhounds. And Tennis to a lesser degree. And I straight bet only. I've won thousands on William Hill without a problem. What they don't like are people betting huge amounts on a single bet. That's when they suspect arbitrage betting is going on.
But if you are betting £20 on a dog race with a 1 in 6 chance of winning NO. They don't care about that. They believe the odds will alway level out in their favour..

The only problem with Betconnect is they make a lot of false promises I.e we will take up international horse racing I.e USA horse racing by this date
then when that date comes nothing then they will not reply when asked 'what is the delay'
This has been going on for months /years.Anyway let's hope they expand into new markets.

The move to online is to our detriment. Paddy Power are only doing BOG on selected races from tomorrow. Absolute disaster for us punters they are squeezing everything it’s hard enough for us to make a few quid now it’s going to get harder.

I tried an experiment today backed a horse showing as 8.50 with bet365. Put a fiver up on BetConnect and nothing at all was matched and the bet was eventually stopped by BetConnect. At the same time as I did the BetConnect bet I put up an order to back it on Betfair at slightly better odds of 8.60 and it eventually got fully matched so lost my enthusiasm. I can't see how it can work. I'd love to know how Caan got so many matched. Maybe he will comment and explain or maybe BetConnect will give some encouragement. Don't want to completely give up on it because the theory is brilliant but it's not so good in practice. Hope that answers you @Big Tony

Even without betconnet you were still well in profit. From sports gambling. Must have been some great picks. Do you think you could keep that up in the long term? The only bet I make is the late goal inplay at big/massive odds in football on very selective games. Nothing else/method has me in profit in the long term.
All about price contraction, you need to identify ones that are likely to shorten a fair bit. Not all did in this example.

'How it works' bit in this video is wrong ? BetConnect seems to just be an exchange advertising bookies prices and you are not actually getting bets on with bookies so value prices never get matched. Pretty useless site (betconnect) with no fund protection. Using bookie prices is just a marketing angle.

On another note, isn't it an odd coincidence how when there was a disallowed goal in the Wimbledon and Gillingham match, Betfair didn't reverse my cash-out like they usually do, and then Gillingham went 2-0 up by full time and scored again when they cash out would have been a lot more. They always seen to reverse the cash-out when it ends up a goalless game after. Obviously I'm not saying they know for sure if there will be another goal or not but they should be quick and consistent when dealing with disallowed goals after people have cashed out.
I'll see if they 'error' off the amounts in my statement and give me the full amount when they correct it.

They haven't made any changes to the payout, so they didn't reverse the cashout when the goal was disallowed. This meant I was unable to cashout later with a better return and was prevented from doing anything. This effectively meant my cash was locked in until the end of the match, so really I should have been paid out the full return as if it was a bet which would have been 2-3x what I actually won.
@@BetConnectUK I will do. I'm not a regular bettor but that's mainly because I don't win enough times to get the confidence to do more but if this helps me get just £50 a day I'll be delighted.

Great video Caan and a most welcomed change for the industry. I have a question regarding commission rates on the betconnect platform. I went through the legal and I did not see the commission rate for laying. Did I just miss it, or the same rule applies as per laying for matched bettors? Aka 0% if you lay a price

How do BetConnect make money themselves?
Do you use a program to find these value bets? I'm new to matched betting and value betting and was hoping to use each way sniper and try this but they don't offer each way bets unfortunately and I was hoping there was a similar program for single bets.

The best thing is probably that both sides of the fence grow at the same time! If you're willing to lay most things that's a real benefit for the platform for sure.

They do take commission but not on every bet, I suspect it may evolve over time but worth looking about for offers even if its 0% for a limited period after sign-up etc.

Betcconect T&Cs mentions affordability checks - I presume you were not subject tp those due to only staking £20 per bet - anyone betting higher would be subject to them so it is a bit misleading! Mr Caan - were you paid for this promo?

How does this work with bookie promos? So if a bookie is offering £10 back as a FB if X happens, do I just back with the bookie and lay with BC? But how does this work if gubbed?
Yep, cant stop the bookies gubbing. But if not already gubbed you can take a price that isnt an arb on the exchange and the bookies will be none the wiser about the matched bet.

Would you be able to get enough money on each bet to win a target of £1000 per bet? For example if the price was 4.0 get £333 on or 2.0 £1000.

Seems a great idea this if you’re like me. Going through hundreds of betting accounts and struggling to find people. Are there extra places when using this
Hi Caan, I enjoy your presentations very much you obviously know what you are doing. FYI today I made some comparisons of Bet Connect versus Betfair prices and after half an hour of looking I never found a single BC price that was better than the BF price. Maybe 4-5 months ago BC were giving generous odds to promote themselves and now its not generous at all. Going through an entire race card even the 33/1 shots are 40-42 on BF. I do not see any reason to use BC as BF is just better in every way. As someone else rightly said below, beating the High street price is not difficult if you have Betfair, it is beating the BF price that would be the real edge as the pricing is just so efficient you can trust the odds to be a true representation of probabilities.
Here I present the challenge to all. If you see a BC price higher than a BF price, post a reply here.
The Betfair price is always going to be better than the BC price because BC use bookie prices and not exchange prices. The beauty is that you don’t get restricted by stake, you could have a £500 bet on a horse at 10am when Betfair liquidity hasn’t even hit £50 and you don’t pay premium charge!
@@wptglobal1 yep, plus 1 hour before the race one can lay the bet too for guaranteed profit, anyway anything to beat the bookies,

Not so good for arbs, you have to remember its bookies prices being relayed. Decent if you have a reason the price will shorten though obviously!
I used them and they were great, but unfortunately was on a massive losing streak whilst using them so didn't make any profit 😂
If you're staking three figure amounts on double figure odds, then it takes a while to get matched and the price might drop but I can't recall never getting a full amount on. This was also a couple of years back, so now there might be more liquidity. I only stopped using them, because my data informed me that betting at BFSP was more profitable. Another recommendation, is that I wish it was possible to deposit via PayPal. I dislike the idea of my bank seeing transactions with betting companies.

4:25 you said you beat the ISP but how many times did you beat the Betfair Exchange SP?
he definitely did on that even money bet (1.93). I'm not sure how the most important thing to come out of this was what he stated, rather than betting 1380 and profiting over 1000. That's an 80% ROI. I see +385 for the 44 bets, and 25 non-visible bets where he must have made another +700. If you can pick winners like that, doesnt matter what the odds are :)
On most, not all though. Typically the prices shortened further after taking the price too.

My problem with Betconnect is you have to bet in £5 min and £5 increments. Also If the price available is greater than the Betfair Exchange you won't get your bet matched, as I found out today. So beware.
I believe this and other points have been raised with them. They contacted and they're really quite open to improvements, if you have others like this its probably worth jumping on to their support and letting them know! I'd imagine there are people playing across exchanges for speed (there always has been with betdaq and the like too).
Doesn't accept registrations outside UK... too bad, would had gotten a heavy backer (50-100k/month) from here.
EDIT: Caan, if you got a connection with them please pressure them to get a Maltese license eg. so users from all over EEA-countries may join. Also, decimal odds.

I’ve been betting virtually for over 6 months, I’ve usually bet between 10 am-11.30 am. I accounted for my initial bet cost with losses to give me my stake cost at 2,400, since then I have accumulated 129,320 pounds winnings, to me professional betting is very difficult, the betting companies have allograrithhem that control the betting public to restrict their losses. So how do you continue to professional bet and make a living, to give away your personal data is an abuse of power to the betting companies, it’s just not acceptable, hence my form of gambling
Yep I know your pain. A decent enough return there, well done. With exchanges like this one they don't restrict states though... it's just liquidity that limits the amount someone can bet.

I tried bet connect for backing and it’s great but when it comes to laying on there, nothing has come up but hopefully over time this will change.
