Any benefits are unlikely to show up after a dyno session. The main benefit is thermal insulation which will help lower your engine bay temperatures. This in turn will result in a lower intake temperature which will certainly increase power...but not by that much.
If you're racing, in the grand scheme of things, it's perfectly reasonable to pay £300 including VAT for a 1-2% power increase. In my opinion.

@@h.0436 I'm not an expert on this sort of thing. But I would think coating something like this would be more for the aesthetics, than for any functional purpose.

@@h.0436 It should keep the engine bay a bit colder (not 20%). Also exhaust gas will flow a bit better if the temperature stays high. Intake temps might drop a bit and electronics and hoses will like the lower temps. However performance wise I doubt it's even measurable on a car like this, it's certainly not gonna be a massive performance mod.

You will not get better Horse power you will maintain the horsepower that the car produce .
For example if your car have 280 hp in 40+c you might get from the engine 250 hp if you ceramic coat the headers and downpipe you might get 265 to 270 hp so you are not gaining horsepower you are maintaining what you have.

toranwartoran Not, it will improve it. Mike thanks about the under hood temperature, but the hotter the exausht the faster the gases escape, and more air can be pull on the next intake stroke.
