- I took the casino hopper in Biloxi, MS to all of the casinos on the route. Was it safe? Was it clean? Expensive? Find all of the answers and more.

Gamble at the Scarlett pearl across the bridge .. winning and very nice .. under the oak restaurant is great in there and the scarlet steakhouse is wonderful 👍 🎰👍
We spec at the Scarlet Pearl last year. Very nice casino.
When we stayed at the Beau in March we took the casino hopper, it was well worth the money, BTW we found $5 on the ground near the bushes at the bus stop... first profit of the day.
That's odd. I lost a fiver by those bushes. Hmmm. The Beau is great isn't it?
😂
Thank you for this video! Been planning a road trip to this area and did not know about the hopper. The videos on the casinos are sooo helpful as well!
Thanks. Hope they help you.
I lost all sound after you started talking about the restaurants
I still watched it in silence. Looks like a beautiful place
I'm sorry. I watched it through, and the volume is fine. Maybe try on a different device.
The audio goes out in the right channel a few times. I listened on 2 different sets of headphones. Love you guys stuff tho👍
Looks like a good time. I’m going in March so I’m searching for ideas. This is great 👍🏾
That's awesome. The weather should be great in March. Good luck 👍
What dates are you going? I will be going to Perdido Key Florida from March 15 to 22 but I am going to go to Biloxi March 16 and then continue on to New Orleans I'm going to the Pelicans Trail Blazers game that evening.
"Love a good dispensary. Not the other kind of dispensary guys." LOL I chuckled
Haha. Dont want to get them confused.
Fun video thanks for the information on casino hopper
Your welcome. Thanks for watching.
Actually one way is $176 and $0,85 I live in Biloxi and take Bus every day. Also the Casino Hopper goes to the Biloxi bus station and there you can ask the driver how to get to the casinos that you can not get to on the hopper. You can get a bus schedule for the casino hopper and all the busses at the bus station or usually on the hopper. treasure bay is a locals casino and you need to get the 90 bus beach boulevard bus to get there it is not far about 10 minuets from the bus station and you can see some sights on that trip. The Scarlet pearl is a casino over the bridge in D'iberville about 10 minuets from bus station ask for that bus but it does not run as frequently even though it goes there. The buses do not run all night stop running around 8pm so double check. I am 63 and I would say Biloxi is safer than Atlantic city or New Orleans women should always go with a friend and single guys are safe and use common sense anywhere. i use uber and lyft I am a local and they are safe good luck Oh it gets really hot so unless you can handle walking I would avoid especially in summer very humid dangerous without water/ride
Than you
I will be looking forward to visiting Mississippi again. After all, it has been so long since my last visit (since 2005, of course).
We are moving to the area in May. We have been living Overseas waaaay too long. Great Video, thanks 👍👍😎😎
Glad you are moving back.
Nice! Casino Hopper. Great idea.
Best transportation in Biloxi.
Thank you Don for showing us how it works. We will give it a shot next visit. And no way you’re 65 buddy!? 😯
No. I'm only 56 but I still Medicare Insurance. So I know all about it.
@@MakeItHappenWithDon Whew! I’m 57 and was like damn he looks young for 65. Lol
Wow Don. Great vlog!! We just stayed at the Beau all last week. Wonderful trip. Nobody mentioned the casino hopper to us?! 🤔 we ubered it to where we wanted to go. Cheap and easy still.
Thanks for the comment. The casino Hopper was really nice. $6 for the all day pass. And it was safe. Can't say that for the bus in Atlantic City. Very scary there.
@@MakeItHappenWithDon wow!! We really appreciate your knowledge. Thank you!!!
So looking forward to visiting in July
Enjoy your trip.
Great video by the way 👍
Thanks for the visit Appreciate you Steve
Thanks for sharing! I'm headed to Harrahs this week in Biloxi and I was wondering how big it was. Looks like a winning of a good time. 😊
Hope you enjoy it! It is not big at all compared to other casinos. You will enjoy it. Visit s all the casinos in the area.
The best video out
Thanks. I hope it was informative.
Great Video!
Thanks
It works and it’s cheap, easy way to get around. I stay at Harrah’s and the Casino Hopper is great.
I Agree.
Nice video! And my sister was working at the bar as well lol
No way! That is too funny.
That’s a really good deal 👍🔥👍
It really is a good deal.
Cool! I really need to go to Mississippi again.
Thanks for watching.
@@MakeItHappenWithDon Anytime, yo. I will definitely enjoy the buffets there once again as well once I get there.
I would say the palace has a good buffet I live here and ate there and Saw Grass restaurant across street from golden nugget good steak house
Thanks for watching. Will have to try them
Like your videos, thank you for making them. We are going to Beau Rivage next month. Where do we buy the passes for the bus? Also the discount rate is that per ride or the all day pass? Again thank you for all your useful information.
Hi Karen. When you walk out the front door of the Beau Rivage, go right and walk towards The Hard Rock. You will see the casino Hopper stop about 100 yards down. Check out: coasttransit.com/how-to-use-cta/ for the route map and other information.
Watching this was fun but we want to see Heather! No Heather, No Watch! 😁
Heather had to work, so it was a solo trip. Wasn't much fun without her, so I probably won't be doing that again.
The Palace Casino has the best buffet in Biloxi. The only thing I don’t like about the beaurivage is the smoking. I didn’t care much for the buffet. Ill be in Biloxi on Vacation soon.
The Palace was really nice. I'll have to try their buffet next trip. Thanks for the note.
@@MakeItHappenWithDon your welcome. The buffet is less than 30 bucks. I’ll be staying at the beaurivage when I go at the end of this month. I’ve saw your video of the hotel room. The bathroom looks really nice. I’m going to be their for a few days. Also when I looked online a noticed that they don’t have a microwave are a refrigerator. If you want a refrigerator you have to ask for one. I’ll just bring a small cooler to keep my drinks cold.
You are correct. No fridge, but they do leave plenty of bottled water everyday. Request a room close to the ice machine. Lol
@@MakeItHappenWithDon I think the room we have is by the elevator.
Great spot. Then it won't be too far from ice machine.
Don this q is related to your " secret the vine" hotel review a while ago.. can I ask if you were tipping staff at dinner lunch buffet? Not asking about bartenders and alcohol related stuff
We always leave a couple bucks after buffet breakfast. As far as sit down dinner or lunch, we always to our server. Just like you would normally. Higher tip for better service. (I think they all split all the tips of you leave it on the table, so, if you really like who is taking care of your drink refills at buffet or your server at dinner, then physically had the tip to them so they get to keep it) They say that tipping is not necessary, but we always like to tip for good service.
@Don thanks for replying, could you tell me how you got to the hotel? Any safe shuttled in mind? The transportation reviews on expedia are horrifying
@jenniferm8942 we always book through apple vacations. Transfers are included and since it's a secrets resort, it's a direct transfer, meaning no stops along the way. One time we stayed at an Excellence property and had to arrange our own transfer. We used canadatransfers.com. they were excellent. We booked a private shuttle for just the 2 of us. Hope this helps.
I'm sorry. Going to Vegas in March.
I got invited on one of those Caesars Air deals from Sun to Thurs. in early march. Do you think this is too long and could be kinda boring or worth it? never been to Biloxi.
Hi Mark. We do the 4 day trips to Mississippi all the time. There are lots of casinos to explor and the casino hopper makes it easy to get around. I think you will enjoy the trip. I am sure that the price is right. And hey, if 4 days seems too long, just take one day and order room service and just kick back and do nothing.
Hoping to spend our 5 year anniversary at the casinos down there this month. I have never been to a casino and I just turned 30. Any tips or tricks. I probably won't have much money to gamble
Just have fun. It's all luck. I hope you win bunch. Happy birthday.
No, play the old school machines (7s, bars) games like triple stars, double diamond, triple diamond, top dollar, pinball. These are all lower in volatility and have a better chance of hitting something(leaving a winner) vs the cartoon games that are high in volatility
@@SlotsxMyxThing We like to play them all. The cartoon games are entertaining. But, I get what your saying.
Hangry did not want to go on the bus?
Lol Heather could not go on this trip because she was giving final exams at the university. I had to go solo.
Does it go near the Scarlett Pearl?
There is not a stop for scarlet and pearl casino.
how far treasure bay from there i didnt see them on the casino hopper list
I dont think it is on the casino Hopper route. It's only about 4 miles though
Do any of these casinos have a car rental area?
Yes. The Beau has an Avis on site.
The drivers of those things were rude and caustic to us. Never again.
The Hopper is sketchy
I always did better at the back bay casinos as far as slots goes
Never been there
Im here now the casinos are terrible mostly empty nothing but dirty old people the Lakeview in Gulfport is even worse!
Glad you are making the most of your trip.
