  • A great day out at littlehampton. We enter the water at littlehampton slipway next to the slipway cafe. 11 boats travel in convoy up the river to the pub and then we head out to sea for some faster fun.
    Just want to say a big thanks for the excellent turnout and that we had the best day. Can’t wait till 2022 sibfest.

      You won’t be disappointed, I promise. Just keep in mind the price point this boat comes in at if you’ve got any little niggles with it. It’s great for the money really. Just a tip, the first time you inflate the boat make sure you fully inflate it to stretch it out before you install the floor. So fully inflate without the floor and leave in the sun for 20 mins or so, then deflate to about 30% and the install the floor panels. You’ll find it much easier. After you’ve used the boat a few times the floor will slide in easy!
      Enjoy buddy👍😁

      Are your transom wheels from boatworld BB? Which ones are they and have you had them on all types of terrains? How are they. 👍

    • @Budgee197
      @Budgee197  3 года назад +1

      Hi, thanks for watching! 😁
      Yes I got the transom wheels from boatworld. They have been on the boat now about a year and they are now showing Sighn of rusting. I have washed them off after every use in saltwater but they are not holding up to great.
      I’ve only used the boat on concrete slipways but I’m sure they would be fine for gravel and mud.
      Although I’ve said about the slight surface rust I must say the wheels have been held up great and always got me on the water👍

    Hi mate, just found this video. Very good- looks like total and awesome fun with none of the b*****ks! I’m just getting into this game, but I’m starting at the very bottom to get used to operating a sib with an outboard before i treat myself to something bigger (i just have a WavEco 2.6mtr slat floor powered by an old Mariner 4hp 2 stroke- it does the job! 😆). Keep on boating and hopefully if there’s a Sibfest in 2023 I will be there! 👊👊👍

      Thanks for watching 👍 I’m glad you liked the video. I’ve got loads more boat videos on my channel, check em out!!!!!
      Good luck with any new purchases in the future. You’ll definitely want a sib with a v hull next time so you can get the boat up on the plain!!!! Flat bottom boats with slated floor like the one you have do not handle the sea as good. And go as big as you can afford and something you can manoeuvre by yourself !!!!!! Bigger the better!

    • @captainlandslide9874
      @captainlandslide9874 Год назад

      Yes mate I definitely intend to! I’m aiming to get something around 4mtr with a 20-25hp eventually. Mine is really only good for inland waterways, harbours and very calm inshore waters. It’s good for practice and I’ll keep it as a backup in the future.

    Wow, a lot of fun! Greetings from Miami Florida.. I have a Saturn TR430 and really enjoy it. Pretty amazing how low/high the tide is on that river, looks like almost 2 meters at the dock..

    • @Budgee197
      @Budgee197  3 года назад

      Yes the tide does go up and down a lot and also fast. You really have to be careful otherwise you can get caught out big time and easily get stuck somewhere!

    Looks so much fun, my boys are constantly nagging me to get one of these. I'm definitely tempted. How long does it take to get set up when you arrive?

    • @Budgee197
      @Budgee197  Год назад

      It takes about 30 minutes to set up and really easy to store away. It’s really is great fun as long as you treat the sea with respect, it’s one of the dangerous places to be if you get stuck in bad weather conditions but so rewarding when the weather is fine. The open sea is also the quietest place on earth!😁

    • @Budgee197
      @Budgee197  2 года назад

      They didn’t. They continued further on up the river. We were getting board of the river so it was actually us that bugged out early, lol! I think we had more fun on the sea anyway 😜. It a good location to launch from and you get the best of both the river and the sea, whatever mood your in on the day!!!👍

      We didn’t. They wouldn’t let us moor up. The pontoon was in action a some other people were using it but we were in such a big group there wasn’t enough room for all of us so we gave it a miss.

    Hi mr Budgee where did you get your engine serviced?🙂

    • @Budgee197
      @Budgee197  3 года назад

      I use a guy in Camberley. The place is called Windsor marine. H I dropped the engine off on a Saturday morning and picked it up the following Saturday morning. It was the engine’s first service so it wasn’t expensive . If I remember correctly it cost me about £140 for cash. I got my service book stamped and they were lovely guys to deal with. Hope that helps!😁
