I'd say you got get more revs out of it if you had someone near the front of the boat too or just get lighter engine cause 20hp can go faster than that, maybe trim it different idk but i'm thinking of getting this boat with the only 26kg orca 8hp engine..
@@tarkilldudegaming2296 I think you are probably correct. It definitely needed a bit of weight in the bow and he should have used a tiller extension. As a matter of interest, what sib and outboard do you currently have?
@@tarkilldudegaming2296 Before you go buying a Boatworld V 380 and a 8hp Orca can I suggest you do a little bit more research. Not that there's anything wrong with either of your choices, but they do have their limitations, especially the 8hp Orca. If you're not already on Ribnet, perhaps take a look at the site as I think you will find it a great source of information.

Think you've missed the point of the video, it was a new boat with a new engine that was being run in.
@@boatingintheuk yeah but it still would probably do a backflip if there was a headwind full throttle

New boat Steve?!
Ah sorry no - just read the video description! Looks good though - light boat!
A blatant Honwave T38 ie3 clone. Very light, 5kg lighter than the Honwave. If you're in the market for a V floor sib it's one to consider.
@@boatingintheuk how deep is the ‘V’ in the deck? Hard tell online - it doesn’t look too extreme…
It's quite deep, I'd say it's the same as the T38.
@@boatingintheuk thanks!
