  • Hello and welcome back to creative stuff..
In this video we are going to make an LED chaser Circuit without using any IC.

We will be doing this project using some transistors and capacitors. Here we have made a 3 channel LED chaser circuit.Stay tuned to creative stuff for 5 channel and 7 channel LED chaser circuit.

The other way of doing this project is by using 4017 IC and 555 timer(click on the (i) button in the video to watch how to make it), which we will avoid using in this video.
So to make this project we are going to need:
    1----------Breadboard www.banggood.i...
    2----------3x 2N2222A transistor www.banggood.i...
    3----------3x 100uf 25v capacitors www.banggood.i...
    4----------3x 10k ,3x1k ohm resistors www.banggood.i...
    5----------24x LEDs www.banggood.i...
    6----------connecting wires
Here is the full circuit schematic:

Hi, I have a few questions...
    1) can a speed control be added to this circuit, if so how can we do this?
    2) is there an option to have all the LEDs on (static) if we wish? and
    3) how many sets of LED's will this circuit support (I was looking at 80-100 LEDs)?
    Thank you
