Literally nobody buys a business off of the ability of someone to rush a job like 1000hp. If someone came to me and was like ill buy your solar biz if you finish this in under x amount of time, I wouldn't sell because they're obviously not on the same page as I am as a busines.
I’m only at the point in this video where he accepts the deal finally. I don’t think he realized all of what he was getting out of Richard. I think he was just thinking that he was only getting alone and some guidance from Richard. He just didn’t realize, he was getting his contacts, his social media, his whole network everything.
I love when they say “stock block” It’s a block that’s stock with full built internals lol. If it’s not a billet racing block it’s stock lol. 99% are stock blocks running around
you dont know what your talking about he take controle until loan is paid off then he s out and that money is actualy being spend to good use in good quality shop equipement and a clean place instead of their failing buisness as to why gas monkey is there in the first place
Or you could see it as they sold there dying shop for 250k worth of upgrades, mass advertising with the chance to buy it back at the original 250k while working in it and makeing a profit with new growth
@@patrickarsenault5201 yes except I've seen what happens with his "brand" he oversells his social media and tv personality. Its just what it is, you are buying brand recognition, in the actual go fast as shit world...thats about as good as a tshirt to click off an 8.
Have seen the rest of this episode and the finished product is amazing. They'll pay off their loan in no time. At the end of the show they open up the doors to Farmtruck and AZN who had originally rec'd these guys to Richard.
Feel for the guy at the end. Wanting him to get on a ladder or a lift with a fear of heights? That's messed up. A lot of people have an intense fear of something, big dogs, spiders, snakes, deep water, flying, heights, something. But to insist he get up there just to show his willingness doesn't prove anything except the person asking is an A hole. VT247
Richard already setting deadlines and trying to be in charge. I personally would turn down his offer in fear of a guy that dosmt know much about working on cars to try and rush product and push deadlines and quality. no thanks. just look at what happen to all his former employees...
Did anybody notice the fact that the guy outside the car was holding the wastegate shut with his hand! Richard got scammed. Look how his hand moved and the run stopped
He was not holding the wastegate shut. You've obviously never seen a wastegate, you can't hold the plunger down. Plus those exhaust temps would burn the fuck out of your hand
yeah i didnt understand either.. it is a loan that they said.. he has to paid back to Richard im, guessing and Richard will run it and bring in huge business with his contacts.
Probably RR gets paid till investment and interest are pd. Then RR would likely get percentage of profit forever and retain some control over operations

He's not really selling the shop, more like a investment deal with % going to the lender.

These are the first guys I've seen who stopped and questioned things instead of immediately agreeing
I'm pretty sure he's talk they all these people before the show.
Dude, they're gonna be in debt forever and it's not that hard to get clientele and make a name for yourself, your work speaks for itself.
CAN RICHARD EVEN CHECK HIS OWN OIL OR CHANGE AN AIR FILTER BY HIMSELF
They asked him if he does stick welding and he said that he has never welded with wood before.
@@MotoKingWOT In all fairness, he definitely hasn't welded with wood.
Can he even find the 10 mm
that's the fun part of having money, you can let other people do it for you 😎
When you got his money you dont need to work on your own stuff
They then raced in Oklahoma and lost almost every single race
I wonder how many of these shops are still open.
Abel is still open and rolling a couple 1k hp ls
this shop is still open I know because he tunes murder nova from street outlaws ls based stuff
I love when they say “stock block”

Typically the term stock block means untouched factory bottom end.
He clearly said stock with stock heads. 1000hp is common now for 6.0 ls turbo builds
Personally I don’t think those guys understand that they pretty much just sold their shop for $250,000
Not only that but didn't they say it's a loan? Not a direct investment. So they can't even decide how to use the money that they need to make back.

he’s like the car salesman selling you a 90k truck when in reality you can only afford a used Civic.
Hell I can't even afford a damn used Civic😂😂😂
Thing is you can manipulate any dyno to post different #s just from changing some inputs about weather.
Great show and thank you for the video 👍🙂
Well I can tell u able racing is open and always busy
Um....the FIRE PROOFING....keeps the steel from melting if there were a fire
Do you realize how hot the fire would have to be to melt steel? Very unlikely
unlikely? in a auto shop full of fuel, used oil, and all kinds of petroleum based aerosols and acetylene gas cylinders?
Stock with a titanium intake and a 130mm turbo
Richard scammed me out of $1000
Ask me how
His give away bullshit scammed me

I'm sorry that did not sound like 1k wheel. on the last run he was probably putting a shit ton of correction into the dyno.
Did that long haired dude just get his teeth whitened or something? Some bright pearly whites!
Was good deal. I hope Richard follows up with update Richard has the touch🍺🍺🥇
I seen this SS Camaro before why do you have to take the quarter panels off to get it dynode
This guy is a romanian Andrei... Hai noroc Andrei toate cele bune
I've seen this episode before, my big question is, Why do they need such a big shop ? . . .
Isn’t the US government cracking down on tuning the cars and trucks and motorcycles and aftermarket parts?
😂😂😂 this foos just sold there shop for $250,000
They definitely didn't understand...unfortunately
I'm new to this show. Why is he asking to lower the money to 250k from 300k? Is it a loan, are the owners just working for Gasmonkey now?
