I spent a lot of time in the hospital with my mom when I was little. so I think the beeping and distant clattering noises just remind me of that strange comfort. kinda sad tbh but glad I'm not the only one that finds it comforting.
The idea of being in charge of something but having time to rest is so perfect, so sleeping the cockpit is great. Also the escapism fantasy of living a more exiting life makes the rest even more peaceful
This has a very immersive feel Like after closing my eyes, I can imagine putting the craft into autopilot, fiddling with the instruments, and checking hard drives Definitely going in my playlist

You know thanks so much for this. This is way more relaxing to play star trek online to than what star Trek online provides. A Vulcan mind like mine (autistic lol) requires peace on the bridge like this while I'm doing the missions. I just take my earphones off when I get a message I want to hear and unmute the tv listen to it mute tv put headphones back on the bridge. Thanks
This is my favorite so far!! Fantastic job on the detail in the cockpit!! There's a lot of others with ambient white noise but I like the machine noises you added in.

This is the most perfect ambient space ship soundscape. Just enough background droning, just enough beeps and computational noises and the ship's hull creaking is just... *chef's kiss* The sound designers really hit the spot with this one.
this reminds me of the idea of a spaceship (or any aircraft) that may seem clunky or unwieldy to a pilot at first. but when you get the hang of a somewhat non-intuitive interface, and the startup overhead and setup, you see just how much of a nimble powerhouse it is not sure where I got such a sentiment from, buts its a nice one "arts, crafts and sciences uplift the world of being and are conducive to its exaltation" ~baha'i faith
