    Have watched well & bore drilling here in NZ & all the drilling mud was saved and collected in a bath which overflowed into another & it was here where the drilling mud was pumped from!
    I’ve always found well & bore drilling very interesting but it’s hard work for the chaps loading & removing the drilling waste coming up from below! Not a job for the faint hearted! You really had your work cut out!
    It’s interesting watching someone else from another country drilling for water!
    I was surprised that each length of pvc pipe wasn’t glued at each joint!
    Here in NZ most of the time the casing pipes are steel with screwed ends & sockets!

      Got one dug for me in Ghana. They didn't even leave a casing pipe. But boreholes are relatively cheap here so can't complain. It's just not done by experts as done in other countries

      @davebooth7808 en France ,le tubage acier coûte plus cher que le P V C bleu car l'acier ,ce sont des tubes de 4 mètres qu'il faut souder entre eux ; le diamètre des tubes acier noir est de 139,7 ,168 ,et 194,7 pour 4 mm d'épaisseur ,! mais tout dépend du diamètre du taillant du marteau fond de trou ,et le diamètre normal standard est de 165 millimètre ; mais on peut utiliser un taillant d'un diamètre plus élevé,mais la vitesse de pénétration dans la roche sera moins rapide ;!le tubage PVC bleu est de 125 millimètre extérieur et 115 millimètre intérieur pour une épaisseur du tube de 5 millimètre ,mais il y a d'autres épaisseur comme du 6 millimètre ,les tubes PVC ont une collerette qui permet de les coller avec collé P V C et les emboîter en ajoutant deux agrafes comme les plaques d'immatriculation des voitures ,car la colle PVC n'étant pas sèche risque de lacher une partie du tubage dans le forage

      What you mentioned about NZ drilling and their rules is typical for a socialist country. Everything is overegulated and the cost of living is higher because of it. Check out the water drilling in the US and see how simple it can be, and much less expensive in States like Texas.

    Using air instead of water to blast out the loose sand... Clever

    • @davebooth7808
      @davebooth7808 2 года назад

      Often the compressed air down the bore flushes our stones sand & tiny pebbles along with clearing the underground strata making the water flow eventually!

      Compressed air if your drilling through dry ground,water under pressure if you hit damp/wet areas..

    Hi, could I friendly ask, what was the thing with the soap? To clean the bore hole?!🤔 🙂

    • @mozi3051
      @mozi3051 Год назад

      Its foam coz of the drill rotating in soil with water.

    • @jeanlouismasbou518
      @jeanlouismasbou518 Год назад

      @paulgeistmeier4361 ; le savon sert a dilater le forage pour remonter la boue du forage ,avec une injection d'eau ,avec l'air comprimé ; les bulles de savon ainsi produits vont gonfler ,et donc favoriser les remontée de la boue du forage

    Brazil?
    Seems to be no attempt to preserve samples of drill cuttings so that knowledge of the aquifer can be obtained for further work?
    Protective gear for the crew a bit minimal.
    Controls for the rig mounted under the tray - the operator has to kneel to keep an eye on them.
    Didn’t seem to do a blow test. Looked like about 1/2liter per second to me.

      Skill is what keeps you safe at work, not Osha required footwear. The XY chart of workers safety is a straight line upwards and the slope did not change when OHSA came into being. Being sued is what made companies become safer.

      @@thomaswayneward Correct. Tho the only reason to wear a brightly coloured plastic hard hat, is so you don't have to waste time searching for a head.
