@@vforwombat9915 I'm sure as she gets more comfortable on camera the pieces will be longer as she talks about more, while doing it more naturally. Getting comfortable in front of a camera is a tough one for sure, I have had to work on it myself and I'm still not 100% natural, but it's one of those things that's not hard to practice either. I found livestreaming actually helped the most for me since I was bad at creating the structure I wanted for edited videos before presenting them, while just letting it flow out was more coherent and confident, while still covering everything I'd have wanted to had I structured it more. That got me to the point where I was less concerned with getting the structure perfect, so i'd give myself basic notes and just work from those as I spoke. Beau should be able to help her form that structure from the framework he's already created though, so it's more just learning those nerves away for her if she keeps to the typical script format to start. I'm sure she'll be excellent at it in no time though

Mrs. was information only. her second video tried to insert more analysis, it was clear she was on much less solid footing there. growing pains.

Women's Issues? A close involvement with sexually transmissable diseases, unplanned pregnancies and unwanted babies are also male issues. Careless, arrogant men who seek sole authority in these areas, or deny responsibility when involved....including priests and politicians... yes, that issue is interesting to women. Ms Beau reported on a political event affecting everyone including males. I should think that any topic, or theme, or point of view put forward by Ms. Beau would be of wide general interest to many people. How do you define "Women's issues".

...but they aren't rights. This is one issue people just can't seem to grasp. The federal government shouldn't be implementing any position based only on an opinion. Including a ban on that, or any other subject. Both are wrong. There should be no federal legislation period. That's not what they were designed to do. They were meant to stay out of our personal lives, as much as possible. That is what gives them power. We are supposed to control them. Not "we give you the power to control us." That is our liberty. A woman should have the liberty to have one. Not the right to have one. Just as a doctor should have the liberty to perform one or to not perform one. It is a life. It's not a life. Until one pops out and says "I'm a human at this point." It's only an opinion. A belief. Which we should not legislate. Use that argument in the states and get what you should have....or continue a never ending battle which ends in loss of rights and liberty for everyone. This is one way, we are not a democracy. Liberty for everyone. Not just the majority.

Body autonomy is not an argument. When the people you are trying to convince says its your body and a babies body. Its an opinion. Like it or not. Same as saying it is a baby, is an opinion. Indefensible argument. There are no rights dedicated to an individual group. Including pregnant women. Intentionally so, because this is not what the federal government is designed to handle. Every human, has the exact same rights, according to them. Being so, legislation saying its legal, is just as wrong as legislation banning it. What you are doing is the same as fighting a “God exists vs. doesn’t exist” battle. It is impossible for either to win on a permanent basis. Another reason these issues are not meant to be in the federal government. It divides the people. “A country divided can not stand.” It doesn’t affect me either way. So people can stay in their emotions. Fight a war they can’t win. Just because they want to invent their own rights through the feds. Effectively making this a majority rule democracy. Which as we know, will fail……or they can get what they want, with an argument that cant be beat. It seems anyone denying, what they say they want. Just to have it written out “You can do this.” Doesn’t understand that is authoritarian. Its not a right, because it interferes with others liberties. Just as a ban interferes with yours.

I really like Pete but he is not the strategic choice. He doesn't bring a state with him and his resume is still a little on the light side. Also being VP would curtail his press visits because all the security for VP would be a pain in the ass. I have no doubt he'll get a position in the Harris administration but I don't think VP is the best spot.
Frankly, I think he's doing his best work now as Sec of Transport. Give him another administration where he is and let him build up even more cred for a future ticket run of his own.
I love Pete and I would vote for him in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, this country is not ready to accept an openly gay person to be elected to such a high position. But I believe he would be great.
People talk a lot about “power couples” when what they really need is a “when the power goes out couple”. If everything your husband said is to be believed then I think we can fairly credit you with the man he is today and the wonderful things he’s accomplished in building this community. Yeah but her chances of winning significantly plummet if she makes the wrong choice, for example she has made significant gains with the uncommited vote, even though her change is mostly rethorical, but if she choses Shapiro as her running mate then all those gains go to the toilet, and you get a 2nd Trump term, so you might be voting team Harris, but not many will vote for team Harris/Shapiro.

My Mother was one of the very first Registered Nurse Practitioners back in the 70’s so I have always had great respect for nurses everywhere. I don't believe I have ever commented on this channel before. This was a nice surprise and great job! BTW, former Repub here and I'm thrilled with Kamala Harris becoming our next POTUS. I'm good with any of those you named becoming her running mate although have to admit I'd be most pleased if Mayor Pete becomes our next VPOTUS. "Honest and wholesome" are qualities I hope to see in our political leaders and I really enjoy pointing to him whenever I'm having this conversation with my kids.
As much as I would like to see Pete B. as Kamal's running mate, I don't think it will happen. Having a black woman running for President of the United States is shocking enough to many Americans. Having a gay man as her running mate will be more than they can handle! One step at a time. I believe he would be an excellent VP...... perhaps one day he will be President. He would be a good one.

Women's Issues? A close involvement with sexually transmissable diseases, unplanned pregnancies and unwanted babies are also male issues. Careless, arrogant men who seek sole authority in these areas, or deny responsibility when involved....including priests and politicians... yes, that issue is interesting to women. Ms Beau reported on a political event affecting everyone including males. I should think that any topic, or theme, or point of view put forward by Ms. Beau would be of wide general interest to many people. How do you define "Women's issues".

...but they aren't rights. This is one issue people just can't seem to grasp. The federal government shouldn't be implementing any position based only on an opinion. Including a ban on that, or any other subject. Both are wrong. There should be no federal legislation period. That's not what they were designed to do. They were meant to stay out of our personal lives, as much as possible. That is what gives them power. We are supposed to control them. Not "we give you the power to control us." That is our liberty. A woman should have the liberty to have one. Not the right to have one. Just as a doctor should have the liberty to perform one or to not perform one. It is a life. It's not a life. Until one pops out and says "I'm a human at this point." It's only an opinion. A belief. Which we should not legislate. Use that argument in the states and get what you should have....or continue a never ending battle which ends in loss of rights and liberty for everyone. This is one way, we are not a democracy. Liberty for everyone. Not just the majority.
@@91GT347 Liberty is a right. Bodily autonomy is a right. Not being forced to birth children is a right. Not necessarily in the legal sense, but as freedoms all human beings are ethically entitled to.
@@birb7353 Liberty doesn’t require legislation. “Not being forced to have a child.” Keyword “forced.” You’re not being forced to have a child unless you were forced to get pregnant. Body autonomy is not an argument. When the people you are trying to convince says its your body and a babies body. Its an opinion. Like it or not. Same as saying it is a baby, is an opinion. Indefensible argument. There are no rights dedicated to an individual group. Including pregnant women. Intentionally so, because this is not what the federal government is designed to handle. Every human, has the exact same rights, according to them. Being so, legislation saying its legal, is just as wrong as legislation banning it. What you are doing is the same as fighting a “God exists vs. doesn’t exist” battle. It is impossible for either to win on a permanent basis. Another reason these issues are not meant to be in the federal government. It divides the people. “A country divided can not stand.” It doesn’t affect me either way. So people can stay in their emotions. Fight a war they can’t win. Just because they want to invent their own rights through the feds. Effectively making this a majority rule democracy. Which as we know, will fail……or they can get what they want, with an argument that cant be beat. It seems anyone denying, what they say they want. Just to have it written out “You can do this.” Doesn’t understand that is authoritarian. Its not a right, because it interferes with others liberties. Just as a ban interferes with yours.

The ego, is the lefts worst enemy. Stop focusing on “me myself and I” for a minute. Actually see their argument. Find a way to beat it. You cannot beat their opinion with your opinion. That should be obvious, since this has been back and forth since the 1800’s. Just win. Move on to the next topic. Nothing changes fighting unwinnable wars based on beliefs. It’s just back and forth.

I really like Pete but he is not the strategic choice. He doesn't bring a state with him and his resume is still a little on the light side. Also being VP would curtail his press visits because all the security for VP would be a pain in the ass. I have no doubt he'll get a position in the Harris administration but I don't think VP is the best spot.
Frankly, I think he's doing his best work now as Sec of Transport. Give him another administration where he is and let him build up even more cred for a future ticket run of his own.
I love Pete and I would vote for him in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, this country is not ready to accept an openly gay person to be elected to such a high position. But I believe he would be great.

Yeah but her chances of winning significantly plummet if she makes the wrong choice, for example she has made significant gains with the uncommited vote, even though her change is mostly rethorical, but if she choses Shapiro as her running mate then all those gains go to the toilet, and you get a 2nd Trump term, so you might be voting team Harris, but not many will vote for team Harris/Shapiro.

BTW, former Repub here and I'm thrilled with Kamala Harris becoming our next POTUS. I'm good with any of those you named becoming her running mate although have to admit I'd be most pleased if Mayor Pete becomes our next VPOTUS. "Honest and wholesome" are qualities I hope to see in our political leaders and I really enjoy pointing to him whenever I'm having this conversation with my kids.
Rest assured that she will pick the best person for the job, keeping everything important in consideration.

As much as I would like to see Pete B. as Kamal's running mate, I don't think it will happen. Having a black woman running for President of the United States is shocking enough to many Americans. Having a gay man as her running mate will be more than they can handle! One step at a time. I believe he would be an excellent VP...... perhaps one day he will be President. He would be a good one.
I think a lot of us would be very pleased to see Mayor Pete as VP (Myself included, i am a BIG Mayor Pete fan..). But, I suspect that two "Second Gentlemen" in a row might be a touch more than our more conservative voters would be willing to accept.😢
