💚💚😍. Good morning, dear friend. I found the video to be quite endearing and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.... It was a remarkable presentation, and I appreciated it very much.
I hope this gonna be a good replacement of the one at Rama 9. We went to Jodd Fairs DanNeramit beginning of this year and that one was so disappointing, lot of shops closed and so quiet at night.
Thanks for the update Selwyn. I was checking for updates and I already noticed it is not a full big market anymore. I guess this one at Ratchada will be the only Jodd Fairs in Bangkok next year.
Oooh I thought that plot closing will be where they will build the Enclosed mixed development Jodd Fairs Building…. Not at the back of this current plot! I’m still confused about that plot of land seeing Rama IX Tower googled is canceled and no mention of its revival yet….
I think they should divide the stores into two types. The first type could be similar to the current setup, with about 500 small shops in individual sections. The second type should be more of a concept store, similar to a food truck setup, where you’d see hundreds of vehicles selling food and goods lined up together. This would give a vibe similar to the old-fashioned trunk sales from 20-30 years ago, which many people who remember those days would enjoy. It’s a style that suits today's times, blending classic nostalgia with a modern twist. 😂😂😂
6:35 Hey Jereon, are you sure about the Super Tower? I can’t find any recent information on it. The last thing I read was that they plan to expand the Central Rama 9 Mall.
I am not sure at all about the super tower. I saw some notion on a few publications, but it is very well possible its not correct. It does seem quite sure the Jodd Fairs Rama 9 will close and something will be constructed there.
A couple of years ago this plot was supposed to become "Bangkok midtown LABELS" ("nine-story, upscale shopping mall designed by A49") and the plot on the other side of the road was supposed to be "Bangkok midtown LIVES" with a connecting bridge between them. Should have opened in 2018. Guess this isn't planned any longer.
Went to Rama 9 Jodds few times and was disappointed each time. Either oily deep fried snacks or proper restaurants but too crowded along with tourists taking photos every where. Just my personal opinion.
I don't think the super tower will ever be built. The project was overly ambitious and now that the Coof is over and Thailand's economy hasn't been growing like before the Coof. Any chance of something that big happening again is quite a daydream. I think something else that is scaled down will be built there instead.
There is a food court in the big C right beside, very cheap prices and great food, I usually get a big bol of boat noodles or pad grapow for about 50 baht. Many different options available
I can't believe you called it a local market. Totally set up for tourists, including the ridiculous prices. 60 baht meals being sold for over 4 times as much. Yikes.
Rama 9 is becoming a new Downtown center of Bangkok ... but instead of a nice congenial space for people to relax and enjoy food in the open air we'll have yet another sky breaking glass and steel tower with marble floors, gleaming elevators and reception checkpoints. Isn't that special!!

Very interesting night market
Retail shop interior design is quite nice. Thank you for sharing a new night market.
Thank you for the update, Jeroen. The old one is behind Esplanade, isn't it?
You mean the One Ratchada.
The old one is called JODD FAIRS Rama 9.
I hope this gonna be a good replacement of the one at Rama 9. We went to Jodd Fairs DanNeramit beginning of this year and that one was so disappointing, lot of shops closed and so quiet at night.
Jeroen, the Jodd Fair 2 has been re-branded a few months ago. Opens only Thursdays to Sundays now. A few stalls have closed too.😢
Thanks for the update Selwyn. I was checking for updates and I already noticed it is not a full big market anymore. I guess this one at Ratchada will be the only Jodd Fairs in Bangkok next year.
how about the Rama 9 still operating, sir ?
Yes, its still open.
I will be there in early December, so should I visit the Rama 9 or this one in Ratchada?

Yeah, it's all a bit confusing. I also don't think the Super Tower project will go through.
I live near Ratchayothin where I find the 2 branches not far away from my place. BTW Ratchada has potential to be the new CBD of Bangkok.

This new area used to be Jusco/Max Value supermarket.
Are there skyscrapers and large shopping malls in Amsterdam? just like Bangkok
lets go jeroen
The „The One“ market on the other side seems to get decreased and maybe closed. Gonna Check this out when I‘m back in 3 weeks.
Good it’s housing the demon statue!!! I hope ppl avoid it
looks like a kasern in a suburbian area...
I'm confused with all these Jodd Fairs, can you pls tell me which one has that cute "Smoothie Girl"?
Jodd Fairs Rama 9, but that one will close in December.
Is Jodd Fairs still busy and open?
not worth going, it becomes too touristy for Chinese tour groups
@@mkt3620abac yes, a few months ago, trying to get to the parking area for the Central mall all the big tour buses were blocking the driveways
Hello mate
สวัสดีครับ
1500 shops includes the vintage style mall and 12 Storey office behind Jodd Fairs by Property Perfect.
Do you know about the original Jodd fairs closing development??? What will be there??? I doubt the super tower… but idk 🤷♀️
I still do not get why people want to shop outdoor here in Thailand. 😅 The prices is also as same as buying in the malls.
This is more about food and having a seat at a kind of Beer Garden atmosphere in the Night.
❣❣❣

I think so too. I think there will be acrelatively normal high rise building.
Zoveel eten jeroen maar zo weinig zitplaatsen om rustig te eten.
Pad Thai 289 THB😂😂😂😂😂😂😂…. Bit pricy for a Nightmarket
Then don't go. Very simple!
@ Don’t worry. I won’t.
Much better options in Bangkok
Why be an ass in the comments, are you angry or jealous?
There is a food court in the big C right beside, very cheap prices and great food, I usually get a big bol of boat noodles or pad grapow for about 50 baht. Many different options available
Agree but look from other place is better so far
I can't believe you called it a local market.

Outdoor shopping food court = plastic market
