Oh wow Amy, CONGRATULATIONS on having a job. Not a lot of people have the “privilege” of saying they do. As for that, imagine having to spend hours on video content to show people like YOU on top of having a 40+ hr a week job. Because that’s what my friend, Christianne, here does. Her videos take DAYS to create and HOURS to edit AND she works countless hours on her regular job on top of caring for this amazing community. Like you said, “NORMAL people have burnout too,” guess what… she’s that and more. You’re welcome for the incredible content AND vulnerability she shares with the world. Some, undeserving of it.
@@thediamondhelpdesk I knew some people would definitely be taken aback by a comment like this. I see so many of these in my feed, bc people click on them and say "oh, I feel so bad for so and so." It's a copout, an excuse for not posting for months even if a person is stressed out in their traditional job. youtube is a side hussle for many, and a full time job for even less than that. they chose this as their side hussle. you can choose when to post or when not to, they don't need to whine about it. Just have a sporadic posting schedule, which is totally fine. Would my boss appreciate it if I just decided not to work because I didn't want to on a particular day? anywho, maybe I would have wanted to watch her content but not after this.

I really loved this video. Great job on explaining burnout. That was a LOT of things going on in your life…something had to give. Glad you were able to pull back and give yourself some grace, space and find your passion again ❤ I felt burnout in January as well. After my advent canvas, The pressure of putting out a daily video in December (which I wasn’t able to do lol) while working overtime and having construction was blah. I felt like I just wanted to Diamond paint and not make videos after that. Welcome back 🥰

This was my first time watching. Congratulations on having your dream job!! I hope you continue to feel better and figure out a plan that works well for you. Definitely manage your stress- i found out the hard way what can happen if you don't. I turned 50 this year and have had 3 mini strokes in the last 3 years. I don't want anyone to go through that!! Hi Christinne, I am not allowed to get burnt out. Why caregiver will yell at me at the top of her lungs that I have gotten tired of this latest hobby. I am severely ADHD, so I am constantly seeking excitement. Plus, I am a "F" ing perfectionist. I stopped for months taking Burpar. Now, I am taking 20mg a day. I guess I want some people to tell me Diamond painting as helping ADHD. Girl, I can relate to you. I believe I am having anxiety and panic attacks all because I entered two events. Why? Because my ADHD and OCPD brain said I could. Thank you for the informative video
I’ve watched a ton of your videos these past 2-3 weeks since I started diamond painting! I totally understand burnout. I hope you can find a more relaxing uploading schedule/painting schedule!
What I find is that you burn yourself out by doing so many, and also trying to do them as fast as you can. I am an artist, but in the evening, I close the studio and diamond paint while watching television. I never do the putting as many on quickly that you do. I do them one drill at a time. I am in no rush because this is relaxing time. I don't care how long to takes to finish one. Although I am now doing very large ones. I just think that it becomes a chore to you instead of a relaxing exercise. We don't care if you don't speed up the video to show how fast you are. We would rather talk and just watch what you are doing. Get rid of the fast forward thing. If you do this to relax, then do that.
