Love the idea of your Pookie Bear. My daughter would love a dog and or a cat version. Wil have to search to see if there are patterns for them.
Try a library or second hand book store for a book on making soft toys. Sometimes you can find vintage soft toy patterns on eBay, Etsy or Pinterest as well!
