+Gir u check stats he's the fastest player to 150 catches in NFL history, had 12 TDS in 12 games last year, and already has 7 touchdowns this year, so u should take ur own advice
I haven't even started it but I will bet literally my life and everything I own that Odell's crazy catch is in this video because that's all anyone ever talks about
That Holmes catch is number one and I know half the people her will disagree but that is the most unrivaled combination of skill and situation I have ever seen.
I respect Odell Beckham and that amazing catch, but I personally think David Tyree's catch was jaw dropping based on the situation and the circumstances.
As a non-NFL fan, I’m confused what is good about that catch, looks pretty standard like it’s not one hand or really far or leaning back. Please could you explain to me the impressive part and the situation/context behind it?
@@Grande79 yeah and 3 illegitimate rings from cheating. Seahawks run the ball falcons kneel and refs made the right call and saints made the super bowl pats only have 3 rings.
+Alexander Patrick why is it a good catch? it fell into his lap there is nothing about that catch except that it was a replay of the patriots helmet catch except that had some sort of skill factor.
As a cards fan, number 8 is most certainly My least favorite. Our only Super Bowl appearance ends with tears and bs. The Kurt Warner "fumble" after that was just an incomplete
Okay. I know that everyone loves the Odell Beckham catch. And it is a good catch. I still think the Antonio Freeman catch is just bonkers. And where was the Ahmad Rashad one-hand turn around Hail Mary catch against the Browns. That's my number one.
John Jefferson made a great catch in early 80s similar to Beckham's. But I'll argue Jefferson's was better. Beckham caught his ball with ball traveling down and with a glove, Jefferson caught a shorter harder pass that was still traveling parallel and at a greater velocity with no glove. You Tube San Diego Chargers Air Coryell and go to 1:30 to see it.
+Jerry Czzowitz Just watched it, great catch. I think the only reason Beckham's catch is higher rated is due to the pass interference that he still caught it through. But in my opinion the catch you told me to watch was much better
Glad you agree, the velocity that the ball was traveling is the difference for me. Though I do love Beckham's catch as well. Was not trying to slight him at all
John Jefferson made some of the greatest catches in NFL History. The one he made in 1979 or 1980 at Cincinnati has to be included in any top ten list in my opinion...
Where's Brent Grimes or Glover Quinn's INT? Where's the gronk catch? How is the randy moss catch only 5? I don't know about Odell being #1 but Top 3 for sure
This list was put together by a troll. Obviously OBJ's catch was awesome and certainly deserving of recognition... it wasn't nearly as sweet as the David Tyree catch though. So basically... Awesome grab... but not even the best catch on the team, yet alone the best catch in NFL history!
The video title should be changed to NFL'S TOP 10 CATCHES BETWEEN 2000 - 2014. Nothing on the 80's or 90's. Thumbs down to this halfway researched video!
+Irvin Avila It's not luck, you still need skill to catch something. Ever played actual football? A lucky catch is when it lands in your arms basically. Grabbing a football with one hand is pure hand skill.
This is pathetic that OBJ is #1, It was an amazing catch but I can name a lot more better than that. Sea of Hands, Immaculate Reception and almost any of Freddy B's catches.
Are u stupid obj caught a 43 yard pass with 3 fingers with a defender grabbing his jersey there is no catch that will ever be better then that and that’s facts🤷🏽
Crescent Williams still overrated. People don't understand that he used his momentum of his arm to keep the ball in his fingers, he didn't actually grip it.
Not autistic, and No. Odell is not the "Best Recieiver In History". If you think so you don't pay attention to any other team. He had 1 maybe 2 good years. Does not mean he is the greatest. Maybe you are forgetting Larry Fitzgerald or Julio Jones. They are both better receivers and more professional than Odell. Maybe one day he will get there. But not now. And i don't see why you are calling me autistic. That just proves that you are immature.
I saw Jerry Rice make a one handed catch down the sideline for a TD against the Jets in 2004, at the age of 42!! That should be on this list. Also, Swann's sideline catch in the same SB was better, IMO.
All of these people saying OBJ is overrated, and he isn't good, stfu. He is one of the best receivers of all time, and he has only played 2 years, already broken a LOT of records in the NFL, and made one of the best catches of all time, and yes I do say it was one of the best. The point is, he isn't overrated, not at all. He is as good as people say he is. No more, no less. And it certainly was the best catch on this list. He jumped in mid air, caught it with one hand BEHIND HIS HEAD, and got the touchdown while staying inbounds with someone covering him. That is why he is 99 ovr in Madden (Not going off of how Madden skill rates him, just wanted to point that out.) and that is why he is in the top 5 receivers in the NFL.
Ion kno why yall hate on Odell. yall say he overrated but year after year he proves that he isnt he is definently a top 3 reciver and he has the stats to back it up. SN that #2 catch shouldve been #1
helmet catch is the greatest PLAY of all time tho. it meant more than any other catch because it did the following: helped secure a Superbowl victory, helped secure the win of the greatest Superbowl upset ever, it stopped what is considered the best team to ever play the game, it stopped a team that all hated due to spygate earlier that year, it stopped a team wet to go 19-0 (only done once in history), it was revenge for earlier that year (game 16 they played and the pats barely got by the Giants defense), and it was a practically impossible catch to make. it was in traffic, double coverage, he caught it one hand on helmet and secured with the other, Eli slipped out of multiple sacks, David tyree caught one touchdown all year (it was in that game), and he landed in an awkward position. it meant more to the league and to the team, seeing they were predicted to lose in early playoffs, started 0-3, Tom Coughlin was supposed to be fired early that year, and it was Michael strayhans last game. that's why it's the greatest play of all time. name one that could be better!
the Odell catch should have been like 3 or 4 at best, number 2 was insane, and Gary barnidge's td catch he caught in his ankles from earlier this year was amazing too, way better than Odells
Santonio Holmes' catch in Superbowl against Cardinals to win game was probably one of the Top Three catches ever! It was to win the Superbowl too!
I forgot how incredible that OBJ catch was. I mean, my god.
1:13 this one is crazy
I love hearing the announcer's reactions
The Antonio Freeman catch was the most incredible catch ever! Even the commentators were in awe! 😮
Odell Beckham Jr: Makes great catch, people call him best wide receiver ever.
NFL logic
he made more than one great catch and he's only in his second year lol what are you talking about
VONTE He's really overrated if you didn't know. Antonio Brown is obviously better
+Gir if you say so
VONTE Check stats
+Gir u check stats he's the fastest player to 150 catches in NFL history, had 12 TDS in 12 games last year, and already has 7 touchdowns this year, so u should take ur own advice
Where is Jermaine Kearse's catch in the super bowl? That was at least a top three
+Sam Smith IKR!!!!
+Sam Smith if they would have won I guarantee you it would have been top 5 easy
That's a catch everybody but Seahawks fans will forget. It's a shame, because it truly was amazing
I remember that catch and I'm an Eagles fan
Everyone will forget that catch cuz tons of people hate the seahawks for no reason.
Who else thinks Odell Beckham Jr.'s catch is overrated?
+Leadoffrock 21 It's good but it's not even the best catch on this list. Freeman's catch is much better.
+raincntry I know it was, but I'm not saying that OBJ's catch wasn't good I'm just saying it's not the best.
yea, Giants didn't win anyway
+Wild Eevee winning has nothing to do with how good the catch is
Its not overrated it’s overhyped
I love watching the people on the sideline go crazy
I haven't even started it but I will bet literally my life and everything I own that Odell's crazy catch is in this video because that's all anyone ever talks about
Its literally in the thumbnail...
It’s the thumbnail
Tbh Odell caught it with three fingers while getting fouled
That Holmes catch is number one and I know half the people her will disagree but that is the most unrivaled combination of skill and situation I have ever seen.
I respect Odell Beckham and that amazing catch, but I personally think David Tyree's catch was jaw dropping based on the situation and the circumstances.

@Calvin cheers, I didn’t realise the difficulty as it doesn’t look that aesthetic as other catches for a neutral
Bryant's catch in overtime vs the Texans in the 2014-2015 season is well deserving to be in this list.
pretty solid list, I agree with a majority of these
but honestly, fuck the helmet catch.
U a pats fan??😂😂😂
When 7 Super Bowls isn’t enough
@@Grande79 yeah and 3 illegitimate rings from cheating. Seahawks run the ball falcons kneel and refs made the right call and saints made the super bowl pats only have 3 rings.
These videos are awesome.
#2 will always be my favorite. I remember that game. Go Pack!
That doesn’t deserve to be on there tbh
@@quad5594 why?
these catches are sick
jermaine kearses catch vs the pats should be on here
It really is one of the most underrated plays in Super Bowl history. If Seattle scores, we would never shut up about that play.
+Alexander Patrick why is it a good catch? it fell into his lap there is nothing about that catch except that it was a replay of the patriots helmet catch except that had some sort of skill factor.
It takes a lot of concentration to keep your eyes on the ball with you rolling around and the ball bouncing all over the place.
Malcolm butlers interception you mean?
+Troy Wullbrandt i hate the seahawks and glad we wiped the floor with them but that catch should be on here
Favre to Lewis should be on this list... Most of these are weak...
you catch those
+Thunder Wolf never said he could
+NE Sniping yea but he acts like those catches are nothing,
I think number 7 is first.just because oklabekam jr made the best catch in the world doesn't mean that its first best catch
Yah number 7 was better then 1
#2 should be #1, just listen to the announcers reactions to the plays
1:20 I made that play when my group was demonstrating the slant move at school. Everyone was like, "Dang!". My friends said I 'Odelled' it.
as a pats fan, number 5 is prolly my fav and number 3 is most certainly my least favorite.
As a cards fan, number 8 is most certainly My least favorite. Our only Super Bowl appearance ends with tears and bs. The Kurt Warner "fumble" after that was just an incomplete
5 isn't that great tbh
Ezekiel Granillo I love the way moss makes it look effortlessly easy against, at the time, the best corner in the league
+itzlegend081 As a Giants fan, number 3 is my favorite catch of all time. Number 1 is pretty nice too.
Good luck this Sunday, you going to need it (;
lol, im pretty sure gaints are the under dog in this fight, but my pats will blow it b/c its the gaints.
number six was my favorite
I thought number 2 was way better obj's catch
#2 amazing that takes skill, prayers, and lots and lots of luck
The David Tyree catch was better than a lot of people may realize. That catch crushed the Patriots' hope for a superbowl that year and seal the deal.
no the antonio freeman one is #1
as a broncos fan I agree because the one we made and the one OBJ made were almost the same
+jael marquez go broncos#18 got hert
+Daniel Chachanashvili i think he put OBJ at #1 because he caught the ball with 3 fingers
you go man
+Daniel Chachanashvili HE DID WHAT?!?!
Anthony Carter's catch vs San Francisco was amazing as well.
I've watched till number two and I'm guessing Odell's catch is #1
What'd I tell you?
Why not add NCAA and add JJ Worton's one handed TD catch xD
I don't think it should be number 1
Don't worry. The Immaculate Reception is still the best.
Great video
How is "the catch" (Montana to Clark) nowhere on here?
Okay. I know that everyone loves the Odell Beckham catch. And it is a good catch. I still think the Antonio Freeman catch is just bonkers. And where was the Ahmad Rashad one-hand turn around Hail Mary catch against the Browns. That's my number one.
Freeman's should be number 1

+Jerry Czzowitz Yeah it was for sure a crazy catch but in my opinion it's like 3rd max on this list.
+Jerry Czzowitz The Odell catch to clarify.
being a bears fan #7 is my favorite Awesome catch by Marty Booker :-)
Calvins catch is better than homes catch calvin was triple coverage JEEZZZ
Did it win the Super Bowl? No, it didn't.
+Ethan The Cheesey Gamer (EthanTheCheeseyGamer) I hate Holmes for the rest of my life thx to that catch
So was Holmes but he was on his toes in the corner of the end zone
+NurtleTurtleWorld I hope you know Holmes was also in triple coverage.
Great vid
David Tyree catch should be #1
that three finger catch by odell was freaken cool
Odell Beckham Jr. was obviously the best catch in NFL History
Always Elite I think David Tyree’s catch was better.
awesome catch odell
Beckham didn't deserve #1
John Jefferson made some of the greatest catches in NFL History. The one he made in 1979 or 1980 at Cincinnati has to be included in any top ten list in my opinion...
I think odells catch is a little overrated by everyone.
Deracs eb Dluohs uoy It’s an amazing catch let’s not lie to ourselves but yeah you’re right it’s overrated and not the best ever.
what a great catch, your almost like Odell Becham jr.
nothing against Odell but to me that's not the best catch
Then what is
Yeah to me the best catch is santonio Holmes. It was to win the Super Bowl and almost impossible the catch and to kee his foot inbounds.
i was at this game with a friend named thomas eckerman his first game ever and it was rated the #1 MNF game of all time
+brian bowar u remember tom pouring rain
Where's Brent Grimes or Glover Quinn's INT? Where's the gronk catch? How is the randy moss catch only 5? I don't know about Odell being #1 but Top 3 for sure
+Dayo Adebo I can already tell your a patriots fan
+Pandas Exploder 😂😂 of course but still those first 2 I said are unbiased and should be there
yeah I guess. XD
Brett grimes catch wasn't that good but I don't think obj should be number 1 either though
this was posted on my birthday
How the hell is Holmes catch 9 IMO it deserves top 5 at least.
"But what the Lester Hayes is going on with that stickemability?"
No Immaculate Reception? You deserve to be slapped for not listing it.
Kaboom imaculate reception????..... sea of hands is a better catch in my opinion. RAIDER NATION!!!!
Kaboom the immaculate reception had no skill to it, it was pure luck of being in the right place at the right time
best thing I ever saw Odell Beckham jr's catch
No way in hell is OBJ number 1
Yes way in hell
#2 was way more impressive
+Troy Wullbrandt #2 was more luck than skill
+Troy Wullbrandt it wasn't a touchdown that's why obj is 1
+XtremeHeat_13 yes way in hell obj is number 1
This list was put together by a troll. Obviously OBJ's catch was awesome and certainly deserving of recognition... it wasn't nearly as sweet as the David Tyree catch though. So basically... Awesome grab... but not even the best catch on the team, yet alone the best catch in NFL history!

rob roy
rob roy that's not very nice he worked hard
rob roy what about Lynn Swanns catch..
#1 & 2 are insane
Immaculate reception?
That was better than Lynn swan catch and what about Brent grimes 1 hand snag or Brandon Lyoid 49er catch
+Hunter Perdue .. Brandon Lloyd catch was Broncos .vs. Chargers, 49ers had nothing to do with it
+lebron james That was luck
Immaculate reception was a spectacular play but the actual catch the receiver made wasn't all that good
+Jimmy Erwin Brandon Lloyd made a spectacular catch while he was with the 49ers as well. Look it up
the last one is the best with Odell he a beast
odell catch was amazing but it was luck that randy moss catch was just skill
its luck but he's done it several times on several occasions
+Andrew Junebug yea i know but randy moss did it with out problem
+Irvin Avila Randy Moss wasn't fouled though
+VONTE i know but if he wasn't fouled be would have catched it like normal randy moss just put one hand up

No what do all you haters gotta say
Crescent Williams that its really over rated. Stop being in denial
Lol u just mad bro because you watched the video and relized that im right
nice catch brown

awesome dude sweet
this is a joke right. In NFL history and that's number 1. Hahahaha . April fools.

Branden Lee He is only been in the NFL for 2 years and they have been better then any other wide receiver.
+CoolHandLuke um did he get shut down by Josh Norman??? oh what's that he was suspended. we learn something new every day.
This list so much better than NFL NETWORK those guys dropped the reception on that list.
if only it were uploaded after Gary barnidge's catch this year vs the ravens
nice video

I don't know when this video was made but Larry Darnell's catch against the 49ers should have been on there :)
I'm a Steelers fan so what happened to The Immaculate Reception from Franco Harris
helmet catch is the greatest PLAY of all time tho. it meant more than any other catch because it did the following: helped secure a Superbowl victory, helped secure the win of the greatest Superbowl upset ever, it stopped what is considered the best team to ever play the game, it stopped a team that all hated due to spygate earlier that year, it stopped a team wet to go 19-0 (only done once in history), it was revenge for earlier that year (game 16 they played and the pats barely got by the Giants defense), and it was a practically impossible catch to make. it was in traffic, double coverage, he caught it one hand on helmet and secured with the other, Eli slipped out of multiple sacks, David tyree caught one touchdown all year (it was in that game), and he landed in an awkward position. it meant more to the league and to the team, seeing they were predicted to lose in early playoffs, started 0-3, Tom Coughlin was supposed to be fired early that year, and it was Michael strayhans last game. that's why it's the greatest play of all time. name one that could be better!
The brandon Lloyd catch is like a replay of OBJ's catch accept it wasnt in the end zone
Calvin Johnson clotheslines that guy😂😂
#7 catch was the best one💯💯👌
the Odell catch should have been like 3 or 4 at best, number 2 was insane, and Gary barnidge's td catch he caught in his ankles from earlier this year was amazing too, way better than Odells
These catches I definitely would not have done
Did everyone forget all the Cris Carter catches throughout his career?
Top 2 catches of all time - both 43 yards!
What about Terrell Suggs on the Ravens interception caught in between his legs?
Where is Franco Harris and the Emmaculate Reception???
