Nice bike. I own the same FZR 600 1989 model same paint scheme. For 12 years. The only difference on my is a Vance and hines supersport exhaust slip on can. I had a Red and white 1989 model in 1991/ 1992 so it's fair to say there good bikes. Just not so many left now. So enjoy your FZR and look after it. 👍

Thanks I only get to ride it few times out of the year because It stays in NY and I'm stationed in LA. I have a L7 GSXR 750 where I'm stationed but it's nice to come back home and ride the old girl.

I like these older bikes, they had it right in the design department. This, the FZR400....... Honda CBR900RR (and grey market 400RR, not to mention the VFR400 as well), Honda NSR250, Suzuki RGV250, Yamaha TZR250, Ninja ZX-7R, etc etc. Kids today ain't know NUFFINS! Too concerned with the latest bling bling bike with chrome extended swingarm polished frame ugly colored accents on every part of the bike underglo neon lighting stuff and the list goes on! Na'mean?

I love both my L7 gsxr 750 and fzr 600. The fzr is always a breath of fresh air when I visit home and ride due to the fact my my 750 is like laying on top of a rocket ship. I really miss my ke100 though 😕 loved that bike too very classic and clean light duty dual sport. I do agree though can't stand the sight of beautiful mid to late 90's and early 2000's super sports chromed out with extended swing arms. They look ridiculous and Im sure handle in a similar fashion due to the fucked geometry with an extended swing arm. I'd love to own a 91 zx7r though they look so bad ass with the vent hoses going into the fuel tank!
