LEGAL OR NOT? AFTER MARKET SILENCER FOR YOUR BIKE - TAMIZH

Is it legal to change the bike silencer? I have explained what all the problems will come if you change bike silencer & what kind of silencer you can change for your bike.
If you want to change the silencer for your bike you need to get approval from RTO about it,basically changing the silence comes under bike modification. If you didn't take approval from RTO then there are more chances that traffic police can seize your bike and file case against you. But most of the people in our country are not taking permission for changing the silencer. Think twice before you are changing the silencer for your bike.
