@@Musicalobsessed16 oh I know I’m just really curious how they make the fake slap sounds like is someone clapping their hands to make it sound like a slap?
Actually, I just added the slapping effects. They were not included in the original footage. Since I enjoy hearing different slap fx, I decided to just give it the treatment.
Willemijn was the best Elphaba, in voice and character. Her voice alone is an incredible instrument. The clear notes, no shrill pitches, and she made it all look effortless.
I really hope Ariana and Cynthia take inspiration from this production.... their vocals and the acting.... omg the 2nd act is something I'm more excited for than the first
my first version of wicked was them i saw it not to long ago but it was taken down 😥 i wanna rewatch it so bad again but i cant find it pls someone re upload it
Wicked is definitely one of the best if not the GREATEST musicals to ever grace the stage by taking the story of The Wizard of Oz and turning it into Broadway gold, and it will always hold a special and unique place in our theater-loving hearts. Forever changed for good 💚💚💚💚 Thanks for sharing! I have a personally fun non-soap opera related question for you. What are your top 20 favorite Eurovision songs of all time?
I most certainly agree with you on that. And not only that, I must say that the orchestration in the musical itself really gets me jumping up and down. I'm so glad that you enjoy this. this is my favorite version of this scene. no one can beat Willemijn's laugh!
How do they do the fake slap sounds
@@yourlocaladrienagreste7639 they dont they really slap each other

@@yourlocaladrienagreste7639 - But of course, I'm also wondering how they make it sound like slaps out there in the production.
2:18 OK Glinda just did a light tap Elphaba did a full on bitch slap
Willemijn really brought the wicked witch element to Elphaba more than others I think.
Love Willemijn's little squeak at the end of the cackle!
definitely. she adds that tiny bit of sarcasm and makes her seem more real. BEST ELPHABA!
Yeah I like her the most because she actually seems believable as the Oz character. It’s the same reason I love Chenoweth as Glinda.

The two most powerful sorceresses in Oz and they settle things with bitch slaps and overly-aggressive posturing.

To be fair, glinda doesn't really have powers in wicked
@ Really? Man. It HAS been a while since I’ve seen it.
If the movie doesn't have Fiero come swinging in on a vine in the middle of a corn field, I would be massively disappointed.
Katie and willemijn are the best galinda and elphaba
WHAT I’VE BEEN SAYING
I like how Willemijn sounds like Margaret Hamilton!

Me and my friend are gonna recreate the slap this is just for me :)
she really slapped her there lol
Vamos falar sobre atrizes que interpretam Elphaba com suas melhores risadas
Willimjin é uma das melhores Elphabas de todo todo mundo
It was MadameMorrible who conjured the cyclone that brought Dorothy&Toto to Oz.
When I figured that out, I lost my shit
I'm surprised Madame Morrible was never mentioned on Once Upon a Time.
@@omarcogle1965…why would she be? She’s exclusively a Wicked character, not a Wizard of Oz one

does someone know if there is a complete version of this cast?? bc i had one saved, and they erased it and idk where to watch it anymore 😭

That scene should've happened before Fiyero turned into the Scarecrow. That Dorothy met, not another Scarecrow.
