Renault Kiger Car Latest Update
Latest Update: Renault is offering year-end benefits of up to Rs 77,000 on Kiger this December.
Price: Prices of the Renault Kiger range from Rs 6.50 lakh to Rs 11.23 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Variants: It is offered in 5 broad variants: RXE, RXL, RXT, RXT (O) and RXZ. The Urban Night edition is based on the top-spec RXZ variant of the Kiger.
Colours: The Renault Kiger can be had in 7 monotone and 4 dual-tone shades: Radiant Red, Metal Mustard, Caspian Blue, Moonlight Silver, Ice Cool White, Mahogany Brown, Stealth Black (New), Radiant Red with Black roof, Metal Mustard with Black roof, Caspian Blue with Black roof and Moonlight Silver with Black roof. The special edition gets a new Stealth Black exterior shade.
Seating Capacity: It has the capacity to seat 5 passengers.
Boot Space: Renault’s subcompact SUV comes with a boot space of 405 litres.
Engine and Transmission: The Renault Kiger gets 2 petrol engine options: a 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (72 PS/96 Nm) and a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine (100 PS/160 Nm). Both powertrains come paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the automatic transmission options vary: the former gets a 5-speed AMT, and the latter comes with a CVT. The Kiger also features three drive modes: Normal, Eco and Sport.
Features: Features on board the Kiger include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital driver display, automatic climate control, and push-button start/stop. It also gets a wireless phone charger, cruise control (turbo variants only) and a PM2.5 air filter (standard across all variants).
Safety: Passenger safety is ensured by up to 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability programme (ESP), hill start assist (HSA), traction control system (TCS), rear parking sensors, rear parking camera and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Rivals: The Renault Kiger rivals the Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Citroen C3 and Maruti Suzuki Fronx. It also competes with the Hyundai Exter.
