Just lost 3 games in a row, and even though my team is a rec team and we just started, it’s still frustrating when we lose and I’m only in 6th grade and my dad used to play volleyball, he told me if I keep on playing and practice, I will probably make my school team (which I didn’t make this year) by 8th grade. Im still very disappointed and brought down by this and I’m in an emotional roller coaster lol, and this gave me some hope to keep playing.

Everyone’s “bad” when they first start something. it’s really about practice, having no fear, and having a good mindset! best of luck!

usually a coach will assess your skills and decide which position is best for you!
