I think it'd be interesting to see how you come to terms with Rudy's past esp as a female reactor. A lot of the reactors I've seen who stuck it out so far have been mostly male. Can't wait! Great VA choice for Orsted as well, looking forward to the rest of the series. Also the Second cour of Season 2 will be almost done by the time you finish the first part, so you'll have a lot of Mushoku Tensei to watch. So, this encounter was way more complex than the anime shows it. When Orsted touched Rudeus's stomach, he actually broke all of his ribs and punctured his lungs, causing his entire lung to collapse. Therefore he cannot breath anymore on his own. Rudeus forced air into his lungs with magic to remain conscious for a few more seconds. Rudeus created plasma by compressing fire magic to its limit. It would have destroyed the entire mountain range, killing everyone except Orsted, if it hadn't been absorbed or stopped. Additionally, it depleted a significant amount of oxygen in the area. Rudeus cannot use healing magic without an incantation, as he has no knowledge of medicine. The reason Rudeus can use incantation-less magic is because of his proficiency in physics and chemistry, allowing him to understand and manipulate mana to replicate phenomena from those subjects instead of relying on incantations. Therefore, he would need to speak to heal himself, but as his lungs were destroyed and he was deprived of oxygen, he couldn't
@@krowreacts While the anime serves as a fairly good adaptation of the Light Novel, it naturally cannot execute everything flawlessly. There are nuances and details exclusive to the Light Novel that one can only grasp by reading the scene firsthand
@@krowreactshe needs incantation to heal himself but orsted already knowing that mages need incantations for their magic crushed his ribs preventing him talking (speaking incantations) that was before he realized that Rudy can do incantation-less spells however he can't use it for healing and thats why he couldn't heal himself.

Rudy didnt heal his lung cuz he cant use heal spell to heal himself.
