Making a Cheap Simple Sturdy Workbench 【木工】製作一張最便宜簡單而牢固的木工桌

  • I used 2x4 (Kiln-Dried Douglas Fir Stud) from Lowes to build this work bench. That is the cheapest wood you can buy in North America.
    It was very simple to build, I didn't use any fancy joints; I didn't use any nails or screws. Titebond is strong enough hold this softwood bench together very well. So building this bench is just cutting and gluing.
    Although they are all softwood, the weight is heavy enough to hold the bench still for most of the tasks.

      If you do end up building this exact bench don't glue the top down. Even with the grain oriented the way it is in the top glue-up it needs to be able to expand and contract freely with changes in moisture content through the seasons.

      Thank you, John. I didn't really count the time because I can only have a few hours in my garage every weekend. I took me a few weekends to finish the structure, a couple nights to finish the coating and the painting.

      你好,謝謝。在疫情前材料比較便宜,我在三藩市,疫情前8ft Douglas fir klindried大約三美金一條 2x4,大概用了33-35條。因為需要避開一些樹節 所以需要備多一些。現在好像需要五六塊美金左右。木膠水 大約30多美金一大瓶,我用了大約半瓶。光面漆我忘了多少錢 用了半罐不到 可能也就是幾塊。美國最貴的還是木頭和人工。

    • @victorhe7200
      @victorhe7200  3 года назад +1

      放在通風的地方,二代的建議夾兩小時,三代的夾久一點。表面看上去沒有乳白色。鬆開夾之後,還是不要過於受力。等過夜後,膠水才能真正承受它建議的力度。
