- This is the ATOTO S8 MS double din universal car stereo unit. This has a snappy new octa-core CPU with touch capacitive controls making this probably the first car stereo that feels as fast as my smartphone for the first time! Lots of features including 4 ways to connect to the internet and dual bluetooth connectivity. The 7" screen may be small, but it's bright and vibrant. Can you make the front camera and camera in work as blind spot cameras for an RV/box truck, triggered by the turn signals?
How do you dim the screen for night driving and can it be turned off but still listen to the music? Also can you show how the internet works with Hotspoting with your android phone? Ie. The app store? Can a front cam be hooked up to it as well as a rear so you can switch back and forth on the fly for example?
Just purchased this was surprise it did not come with a backup camera since the lower price ones do..can you use any back up cam?
You can do as long as it's ahd or cvbs I believe
However if you want to use the instant live view feature you will need to wire the power into a constant supply not the reverse light power as essentially it will be powered on all the time.
how is sound quality i've been wanting one for a while but what turns me off is that i've heard sound quality isn't the best with atoto radios
I just installed the 9" version of the S8 MS, and the sound is better than I thought it would be. Pleasantly surprised.
Sound quality is better than any chinese android unit but still nowhere near the big brands
@@shagsshag149 what about adding ATOTO amplifier, I added it to my car where is ATOTO headunit installed - the model AE-CA-AEC01 and it really imrpoved the overal sound quality.

1. Sound quality
2. Terestrial radio reception.
@@user-jr6lk5bb1i sound quality is good, much better than previously used head unit, but terrestrial radio is shit as other Chinese brands. But it hopefully support DAB, so I bought dab adapter and antenna and using DAB.
