- Now that I found my clearcoat that I shared in the previous video I really wanted to get started painting and see if my ideas would come to fruition. This is a short walkthrough on painting the first part of the suit....the helmet! Hope you guys enjoy.
The lighting is pretty bad in a few clips so I apologize ahead of time.
Spot on paint job! That helmet is screen ready!
Amazing project!! Your attention to detail regards accuracy is first class, and that helmet paint job is 😍 Following your progress 👍
Thanks so much sir that means a lot!
Fantastic finish, so smooth and clean. Really great work. Looking forward to seeing the finished Robocop ;)
I really appreciate that! Got most of the suit painted still have a few more pieces and I should do a final reveal soon. Thanks for the comment!
Beautiful paint job its coming along great 👍
Thanks man much appreciated.
Amazing
Thanks!
you are a genious
Not quite but thank you!
Where do you get your spray paint from ? Cause I’m working on my helmet on Monday
I wasn't impressed with it at first, but that Peter Weller mouth looks better every time I see it in these videos. The sculpt, I mean. Did the clear coat knock down the "silvery-ness" at all?
The Rustoleum hammered isn't really overly silver to start with and the duplicolor didn't seem to effect the finish at all from what I can tell. The Weller sculpt is actually pretty good imo...Darthasen sells a model of the whole face and mechanical backing and it's pretty good.
Chris, where did you get the face shell, got my suit from same file but didnt see the face in the files
I used the Robocop head and cut the face and used that. www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/games-toys/other/robocop-head-for-3d-print
It's made by the modeler that did the Robocop suit.
@@ChrisBoshProps ok was wondering if you did that, that's what I was thinking, seems like a nice piece
aparently there were 9-11 differant color highlights on this suite (n the original film)
please build me one i will pay for it
u cant see anything, the helmet is to dark in the shots while u are spraying!
Yah the lighting isn't that great in my garage. I really just wanted to show the final product....the small clips of me spraying was just kind of extra.
@@ChrisBoshProps i have just printed, sanded and primed the last piece of my helmet! it was the back with the vents! just letting it dry and wet-sand it again! then its painting time for me. btw, i thing u have a different file for the helmet than i do! my chin isnt as tall as yours and doesnt have that ridge below! also ordered a bunch of airbrush colors! so when they arrive a can also add the blue and purple! how can i add you on facebook? would like to show it to you when its finished!
@@joginator That's great man! I don't have Facebook...whenever you finish you can send some links to your pics and I'll check it out.
@@ChrisBoshProps will do!
