Hey, I was going to look up some DIY ideas for a slide gate, I am looking to do this for my sisters house here in Portland OR. I never imagined I would see a video about this that was local, and that offers service with the phone number! Lol Ill send this to my sister, and her husband. They might be interested in a quote. They have pretty much the same set up you have in the video, minus the slide gate, and the swing door. Those two additions would be great! Thanks uploading this video!
@@tetragrammatonbrahman4291 It was talking with you,..I will do my best to help you out with the part names you need to pick up at your local fencing outlet,..look for the small ma & pa shop's they may need your money more so than the bigger out fits,..
Love the vid. Where im from we call thos brackets that go one the line post "Universals." And the wheele that slides in the slide rail "Back Track Rollers."
Hello; is there any other way to install the back track rollers where they will not be exposed? It looks like a hazard waiting to happen on someone's hands. Did you say the big wheels would be better? I like the small walk gate you have that connects to your roll gate; can it be used separately?
I am kind of old school,..so I am not aware of any parts that are not exposed,..Big wheels are for more of an industrial size gate,..and yes the swing gate can be used separate from the slide gate,..I only did that to extend the opening on my driveway,..Thanks for viewing the video,..I do hope my answers have helped you out,.
It can,..you would have to cut the chain link for the track brackets to fit up against the posts,..but you would be canceling out any security measure you would be installing it for,..it will work though
Very helpful... I need to replace the bottom rail on my sliding gate. This was an awesome place to start thank you.
Glad to hear that it helped out a bit,..thanks for viewing
