Heck yeah I wanna see it !! I’ve built about 20 of those gates this year alone so I’m always looking for better ideas , like that chain hoist to flip the gates is genius !!
Hey thanks for the vid! I work for a company that makes cantilever gates religiously, can you guys make a video showing how to cut the pipes on an angle that go across? Trying find a way to cut them cleaner so there’s little to no gap for cleaner welds
Hi from Salt Lake City. When designing your gates, what is your formula for finding the tail length for optimal support. If your gate opening was 12’ 6”, how much longer would your gate need to be in between the 4 support wheels?
What is the feasibility of building such a gate frame out of wood / 2x4s or 2x6s compared to steel piping? I know that square shaped roller wheels exist for square chain link tubing, I’m a much better wood worker than metal worker.

You’ve got it, we’ll add it to the content board!
Instead of welding nuts to the frame we use bottom wire with a turnbuckle and Hog rings. It works well.
Nice!
3:22 ..... Threw me back to the movie water boy. "Tackling Fuel"🤣
😂😂😂
@@JoeEverest no disrespect intended, but felt the need to point it out

How long do they sell the 2 1/2" pipe?
We typically see them in 24’ lengths.
You really need better ventilation or an appropriate mask to weld galvanized pipe without first removing the tin and lead based galvanizing.
When not filming, he typically does wear a respirator. Also, there’s a ventilation system that moves air across the table.
