Shade selection should be done before starting a procedure....oral environment becomes dry and tooth gets dehydrated which results in dull colour...saliva moisturizes/hydrates the tooth and gives increase in intensity of value of tooth colour! 😊

Do not also forget that after preparation, the dentin (which is more yellowish) will be more visible through the enamel, and will alter the dentist's decision

Hello Dr . I have question ..for example I have to build an full arch and color is 2M2.. in cervical area shall I use 2M3 or 3M2?... Asking because teeth in cervical area are a bit darker( more chroma and less Value).. but in 3d master when chroma increase value increases too...eg 2M3 is more chromatic but at same time more brighter then 2M2(which is not good).. on other hand 3M2 is with same chroma but with lover value( which is same not ideal but a bit better).... Please answer if you know and thanks in advance

I think you skipped a little piece of information here, is how to choose hue depending on Chroma value we have, what is the importance of choosing chroma first !!
Do I do get to choose any red or yellow !!!

The lab will just be given the final shade. Once you go through the steps you will end up with 1 final shade.
