Just come across your videos and I quite like your straight forward uncomplicated unobsessed style!! I've been modeling now for 58 years and I've never even considered using an airbrush, nothing wrong with old school!
Nice to see someone still brush paint.. so mamy people airbrush. I don't have the setup to airbrush and i kinda like using a brush.. old school but nothing wromg with old school.. like your style of video as well.. something a little different.. 👍👍👍
I could dub some in at a video in future, but then the magic of the live stream experience of trying to microwave a meal whilst being strafed would be lost.
To be honest it was laziness. I have footage without it so just put in a photo with it rather than redo the footage. I may do a follow up PAV (Patch Analysis Video), LAV (Lightning AV) or VAV (Video AV)..
I think tamiya doesn’t brush easily , best for airbrush thinned with Isopropyl anyways nice model . Have a look at Boomers dioramas for great tips on using tamiya paint a absolute master . Regards Fred ps still to do a lightning 3 old kits and all with parts missing 😢

i had so much trouble with aligning the cockpit and the thrusters that left such gaps everywhere

Great vid dude!! If you use some retarder and thinner with the Tamiya paint it will stop that pulling paint thing it dose
