Companion reactions is one of the best features that they’ve added to the game. I really hope in the future we get to unlock a squad of a companions like in the old games.

@@chadnorris8257 As the General you should've been able to create task forces, perhaps with named leaders and a couple of unnamed minutemen. Then when Preston or Radio Freedom announces an issue, you can decide whether to assign a task force to the job, or to handle it yourself.

That rank comes with expectations that you'll be leading forces. Not doing everything yourself. It sucks that you usually need to defend settlements yourself, or there's a 30% chance even the best defended base will fail. That is one good thing about the Institute teleporter. teleport into the Institute, then out, and you get where you need before the attack happens. Assuming you even noticed the attack popup in the first place.

I play on survival mode most times and even when I don’t I usually just use dog meat for the lone wanderer perk and his ability to sniff out loot i most likely missed. because of this I’ve never experienced what the other companions interact with or comment on. One day i will take a human companion with me but not today unfortunately.
