Seakeeper Ride Bluewater 2550 installed

First Seakeeper Ride ride installation on the books for MCS. Capt. Kenny Parkman is a Retired 20 year coast guard Captain, he provides us with his take on his Bluewater Sportfishing Boats 2550.
We removed his Lenco Factory trim tabs, removed his deck drain scuppers, color matched his transom fiberglass and relocated his deck scuppers further outboard to allow for clearance to install the SK Ride Actuators.
Capt. Kenny’s’ wife was the driving force for the SK Ride system due to the abuse she endures offshore fishing and after installation and testing he was sold! He did not expect this kind of performance increase and ride comfort! 🙌🏻
The vessel hole shot increased by a 3 fold in time and we were on plane within seconds. Capt. stated he was running faster then he normally would offshore due to the decrease in the the physical forces being significantly less due to the SK Ride ability to counter the waves and the vessel overall performed like a much larger vessel would.
Fuel efficiency did not decrease and the overall stability increased allowing for a faster & smoother ride. This system is completely automatic and can be configured to different sea conditions, it can also be used in manual mode if necessary.
