- Last week in June we travelled from Shimla to Leh via Spiti in our Gypsy and created this short video to sum up our journey. There are a lot more videos from Ladakh coming up.

Nothing like butter tea to take away the weariness in your bones on a long road trip. That's some mindblowing scenery, you're so lucky to be able to travel to those amazing places.
I also see a new Toyota Fortuner in the middle of the video. I would have a hard time maneuvering a donkey on those tiny roads, let alone a big SUV.

Some very brave drivers there. I think I saw a Daihatsu hatchback and a BMW 3-series, they probably left some parts behind on those roads.

Fabulous...👌👍😀 Himanshu you are back to reviving our old memories with your each trip. Did Ladakh in September 2016 in Swift Dzire but virtually travelling with you on Gypsy is amazing. The way Gypsy tackled the worst Batal-Gramphoo stretch is commendable. Now that you have sufficient experience with Gypsy I have a few queries:
1. Are you using original stock tyres?
2. How much mileage Gypsy gave on Ladakh trip?

1. Nope Upgraded it to Geolandar ATS. Stock tyres are good on the mountains, rocks and muddy terrain. but horrible on highways. 2. 13.7 from Kaza to Leh. and 13.4 on an average.

The landscape looks mighty and magnificent. One of the bestd in the world.
The only drawback is road condition: Very dangerous. Why does Indian army not repair and widen the road a bit?
Has the rotang tunnel work finished yet? It is overdue now.

Don't know about that but the army has widened the Manali-Leh stretch to 20m.
Rohtang Tunnel is functional for emergency vehicles. Will be opened for tourists next year. Some final beautification work is going on.
