When you look back on the TV show its good one but Channel 9 bean counters were really turning the screw on the prizes i mean whats a Beko TV?, Seat Cars never quite caught on in Oz probably all ended up at hte tip and Manual Transmission of sign of cheapness. The Prizes were tacky and cheap its too bad now the Millonaire hotseat now its being killed off because of the bean counters in 2023 gave larger prizes worth more then the Prize is right back in the day
all the brands on this show are so weird. i never heard of any of these brands...especially a "seat" car.....and beko tv? the camera was some other weird brand monolta??....maybe they are cheap brands
Vikki Waiting Seat's a car company from Spain. I'm pretty sure we've had Minolta cameras in the US, at least under a merger with Konica. Helps to do just a few seconds of research.
No or Two on Hole in One...LAME!!! "I think Hole in One for Australia should've had the Or Two concept like the UK and US did, even though UK got rid of it when Joe Pasquale hosted"
Thank You for the video.I watch Larry Emdur in the price of right in 1997 during my stay in Australia
The starting music is giving me a flash back lol
Larry emdur is now the host if the chase australia
Bidding 399 when someone had bid 400 is usually a dumb move, tho in the US something similar resulted in a perfect bid win.
1:38 that velvet jester hat is peak nineties!
This episode was first aired in 97 but this particular broadcast was in 1999 because that's when The Mick Molloy Show was on
Really appreciate these videos of the price is right :) thank you, don't hesitate to put more up if you have any
I like how the host rushes the final reveal in that particular case, because, if you can do the math, you realize the guy's a winner.
CAR
I would've thought Larry would've done an Inspiration Putt
There's an ad in here for a feature on Eyes Wide Shut which came out in 1999 not 1997 so your date is probably not right.
The show finished in 1998. In 1999, the last two years were shown as reruns.
Thank you! This takes me back to when I watched with my mum. Can we buy your collection in dvd or via online?
can you please add more episodes
This would of aired Wed 14 July 1999 according to the Sale of the Century promo.
19:00 Royal Castle Clock
13:35 ALMOST got it on the bounce back ricochet.
the pulsar plus series 2 was released in 1999 not 1997
josh joseph 1478 And the film, Eyes Wide Shut, featured in the ads, was released in 1999. It does say 1997 in the end credits though.
@@Murgatroydian replay? I can only guess that if they ran it that year, since it went off in 98
@@Murgatroydian I had one. You just had to hope you didn't need to go up hill on a hot day with the aircon on.
Anyone else feel Cynthia got ghosted a bit cos she wasn’t the blonde hot one?
