- Hello! Welcome to my first ever vlog!!! My life is pretty all over the place since I have a 9-5 engineering job, a part time job as an NBA dancer, and a huge passion for art and making stuff ☻. I swear I am not into hustle culture, I just ended up with these jobs because I wasn't ready to stop dancing but also really wanted to keep my day job for financial stability (cuz u know the economy is sketchyyyyyy). I definitely take PTO for my mental health OFTEN because I need it!

I’m happy there are RUclips videos like this that exist. I’m almost done with college studying civil engineering and I know that’s a demanding job. I love photography just as much and always having panic attacks thinking how to combine the two. This gives me hope.
I love this vlog!! Seeing how others work different jobs in different fields remind me that there are others out there doing what they want without label restrictions and it's exciting and inspiring to see.

@@milkflavored hi, yes. I do DTIYS mostly on Insta. I’ve never really done it on Twitter or Tumblr but it’s still very active on Instagram. I feel like Instagram is the home for DTIYS challenges & most art challenges.
@@tofugoob yes, I’m literally obsessed. Lol but aww that’s understandable. Even with reels…I still find myself in a loophole of DTIYS challenges. It may be because I have a lot them saved from now & from years ago too. Instagram feeds it to my explore page like crazy. I’m one of those artist that try to do both photos and reels. So I feel like I have a balance in both. A lot of artist still keep the challenge relevant. & yes, you should definitely try it out more. & of course, no problem at all!

Engineer/ designer passionate about art checking in 🙋♀️the pipeline is definitely a thing. I’d definitely say engineers and artists have a lot of overlap terms of interests.

Pickles are ok 😆 I’m impressed and appreciate hearing how you juggle two jobs along with art and starting RUclips. I work as a full time designer and have been doing RUclips for a few years along with my own art side projects, it’s a lot! So I definitely understand the struggle.
It’s a struggle for sure!! But a fun struggle cuz we get to fit in time for passions :)))

What a delightful channel and person! I guess this channel came up because I like to tell people I'm a full-time artist and a part time lawyer (even though lawyering is an all day job with only two or three hours in the evenings to do artwork). I love seeing that there are others out there like me or similar in situation. In fact, I think that's the MO of a lot of artists and posts like this are inspiring. Thanks and subscribing! Edited to add that yes, I not only like pickles, but I could eat them all day, every day.

I like pickles, bread and butter pickles are my favorite. It is really nice to see someone doing well in their art career while balancing other full-time work. That is something I am struggling to start, but am hoping to work out the path that works for my schedule...for now. Definitely would love to abandon the stable job, but am just not at that point yet.

I mean, it's nice to watch "well-established" creators, but for people who are actually.... not (like me hehe) this feels way more relatable/empathetic (if this makes any sense). I like pickles on the side with sandwiches...but try not to eat sandwiches anymore. Super happy I found your channel, I also do engineering (truss designer) from home, but trying to transition to part time to commit more to my art business. Bought a campervan and trying to take some art road trips for inspiration...galleries art and music events nature photo's etc. Got some cool tools this week, ie ipad air 5 apple pencil2 just getting started with Procreate so loving to watch your steps with the program super helpful but intimidating cause you're so good at it!!! I've been wanting to start a youtube channel for so loooong thinking eventually i may do it if I can muster the courage to be that vulnerable. You are a natural for sure and I'm happy to find a new art pal ;>0
