This Embassy Suites hotel is located cross the street from The Headquarters shopping mall courtyard which used to be the old Police Headquarters, thus the name) and this shopping area now includes a Starbucks, Cheesecake Factory, and more! Also within walking distance is Seaport Village which includes many shops and restaurants and some nice walking and views along the bay. Guests can also walk to the San Diego Symphony Bayside Performance Park also known as The Rady Shell which is a wonderful outdoor concert and movie venue.

From the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Downtown property, guests will enjoy views of the bay and San Diego skyline. This property is also less than a mile from San Diego Convention Center, Petco Park, and the USS Midway Museum. The Gaslamp Quarter is a 15-minute walk away. This hotel features an indoor pool, and Stretch U in the fitness center.
The hotel also offers FREE made-to-order breakfast including an omelette bar and huge selection of breakfast items, fresh fruit, drinks and more. Another favorite feature of ours, that I forgot to mention in the video is that they also offer a FREE drink and snack reception for guests in the evening where each adult guest gets TWO free cocktails. They also hand out snacks and have a soda and drink bar for the kids.

We love Embassy Suites, and this looks like another amazing property. Might have to make sure we go next July just for the view of the Fireworks!

What did they have for evening reception?
Hi Darrell! This property actually had some of the best reception drinks and snacks that we've seen - they offered different individual snack trays like: veggies and dip, chips and salsa, cups full of trail mix, etc - and the drinks were really well done, some great options for kids too. They have a nice area for the reception too and they open up access to the fountain drinks as well. Hope that helps! Happy travels!

That is the balcony for the next room, which I think (?) was room 1205 (ours was 1204)
