Would hate to clean my weapon after this exercise 😂😂😂😂
Imagine being a private and losing your rifle in the ocean.
Rumor has it they're still cleaning all that gear as I write this. IJS
Some extreme cringe comments- you make your mistake in training. That’s why it’s training.
I don't think some of y'all understand the concept of "training" lol you keep doing iteration after iteration and most likely creating SOPs as they go.
You always start by crawl, walk then run. I give these guys props, doing water operations sucks amd glad the Army is doing something about waterbroune operations.
During World War II, there were more US Army soldiers in the Pacific theater than US Marines. The Army had about 2 million soldiers in the Pacific compared to the entire USMC's 850,000!
yes they did 21-Divisions in all compared to the Marines Corps-6. The significant differences between the two is that the Army is designed for sustained ground combat operations, where as the Marine Corps was not. The Marine Corps operates very similar to the Army in general as far as combat goes, but they're specialized in amphibious operations, and shock. extremely mobile, fast, and self sustained in all three elements of combat operations...Land, Sea, and Air. Now in regards to this post (I served 12 years in the Marine Corps) LOL folks making fun of these troops, all in fun I'm sure. The simple fact is that this is exactly where you want your people to make mistakes, where they can identify their weaknesses, and make the necessary improvements as they move forward...to my Army Scout brethren IMUA! & Semper Fi!
Most of those were in the Philippines fighting a ground war.
The rest were holding islands the marines took.
Also the marines trained the army in amphibious ops for north Africa and Normandy.
this looks hella fun!
Taiwan preparation?!
Its likely. Itd make sense and seem beneficial to train realistically now.
They're in Hawaii, so that's what they have to do in their scope of tasks.
power!!!!!! gogogo!!!!
The Marine RECON instructor is doing his best to teach these land lubbers.
The dude was Army Recon from 25th ID
That IS rare. Wow didn't know my branch even still did this
Private First Class Lumi, what is so rare about the Army conducting Over the Horizon Military Maritime Operations ( M²O)? Do You Yourself, NOT know enough about United States Army History, or is it that the weak and woke Armed Services emphasizes Diversity, Equity and Inclusion ( DEI)? Are You not familiar with Tuesday 06 June 1944AD, and, " Operation Overlord", when United States Army Soldiers , and those Allied Coalition Warfighters, stormed the Nazi Wehrmacht - occupied Omaha, Utah, Gold, Sword and Juno Beaches of France? Research about that and other Amphibious Operations , conducted by both Marines and Soldiers.🇺🇲🇺🇸🪖💣💥⚓🇺🇲🇺🇸
All branches do some overlap so that there is no single point of failure.
@JohnRodriguez-si9si maybe if you've been paying attention to the last 23 year's of operations we've done and our doctrine from that you'd know why this is rare Army wide outside of 25th ID and a few other units. The Armys just now moving on from COIN and back to LSCO so stuff like this wasn't trained on as much for the past 23 years unlike the Marines that shifted back to focusing on China years before we did. Stop being a BroVet for no reason
Honolulu is probably the hardest place to train both on good days and junk days. The seas are rough and getting more dangerous.
Go Army Beat navy!
Bro was 80 years late
Sweet mother of god, please send these soldiers to the USMC scout swimmer course. That was painful.
Don’t they run you guys right up on the beach tho?
That's why they are training. Let them get better. I love it when you see me start so you can be in awe when I finish.
My neighbor across the street USMC who grew up in Orange County California went to Recon course and dropped due to swim. He said he liked breathing to much.
The US Army is more accomplished in the objective of opposed landings than the Marine Corps could ever hope to be, sorry.
@@hoy455 comments like that dipshit posted makes me not even want to be a marine. The eagle, globe and anchor looks badass on Marines but some of these jarheads dont deserve a lick of shit the way they steadily talk shit about our military. Instead how about they go help be apart of the change.
I only have 3 months left in the U.S. Army IRR.
Better get ready for that forced contract extension to meet retainment numbers to battle Russia or China. Good luck. Thanks for youre future sacrifice.
😂 че морские котики такие мелкие😂
This is pretty cool. Idc what these cringy commets. This my branch and it shows army isnt all just land
❤❤❤vive les Usa humanitaire démocrate ❤❤.
US ARMY 25th infantry division RECON UNT😂
Seem like if you're going to role in beach sand for cammafloge I would keep as much sand out of my wepon
👍🇺🇲🤝🙏
What unit is this
25th id
US ARMY SPECIAL FORCES GREEN BERET 😂
That’s not Green berets those are regular infantryman you most definitely can’t read
That’s 25id it’s not SF
Lkas alon
This was just painful to watch, they look so untrained hitting the beach. 😑
Hence the word training. They'll do it again until they get it right, they have the budget. They'll get it done. The largest, most complex and most brutal beach landing in history was conducted by the Army.
Not impressed.
its training
@@loaiekaram Thats correct, good job.
You should join up and show them how it's done then.
@@HiSp33D Why?
Клоуны)))
Typical Slav response how’s Ukraine bottom feeder?
Take a look at the shitstorm happening in Ukraine. Russian military is a clown country.
You’re into clowns?
These guys need more practice
The army is not a amphibious force please make it stop lol.
Everyone has a backup. Including the Marines.
Brother it's vital 25th ID and 3rd MLR train together as much as possible NOW to prepare for a conflict in the future. Jungle School, Air Assault, EIB, even Pre-Ranger and Ranger/ SOI-W AITB- Det Hawaii courses...Scout Swimmer, Maritime Navigator, Coxswain. Small Craft Engine Repair, etc.
Last time I heard the US marines surrendered in a training op with the UK, pathetic
