China has not won three titles in one event for a long time so this is a morale booster for the Chinese, although two of the winners were unexpected, namely men's doubles and men's single. Japan did well to win the other two titles with the women doing them proud. Wonderful victories by the fast improving Matsumoto and Nagahara against the sentimental home favorites, the Stoeva sisters, and Yamaguchi turning the tables on Tai Tzu Ying after her loss last year. After a magnificent win against Kento Momota yesterday, Chen Long kept up the momentum against Shi Yuqi in straight sets with an old is gold performance.

I wouldn't say it was a magnificent win against Kento Momota, because Momota was in terrible form due to fatigue.
Chen Long was smart to play patiently, dragging out the rallies to tire momota down. But we can definitely see CL back in great form now.
I am curious to see how CL vs KM would be like if both players are in their best form.

I highly doubt that Chen Long can return to his best form as he was 3 years ago. But it is good to see him get rid of the bad performance recently.

I am not a supporter of China. But in reality China is still the dominance country together with indonesia and japan. The country that dropped the standard is Malaysia . As for Korea and Denmark they still maintain their standard as one of the strong country . I am a malaysian , i just feel sad that there is no replacement for Lee chong wei , is not about his achievement but some one that in scene just like Chou , Shi or any one else.

I really liked both of these players Chen L & Shi . Shi was still young and needs to improve further to be more perfect.
Chen L deserved to win . He played better than Shi in this match and he even defeated the world number one Momota, but Shi could not do it!
It seems Chen L came back in this tournament, Shi Yuqi too . Keep moving pls. Always support both of yours in every tournament💪

Well anders antonsen is not good enough yet but if he keeps going like he have been doing the last couple or years he will probably have a good chance.

The umpire has made the same blunder again following a challenge. Previously in the WS finals with TTY and would have gone un - notice had the player not corrected her. There should be someone overseeing the umpire regarding such errors that has the potential to influence the outcome of the match. At the very least she should be spoken to.
