This is the best thing I have ever seen. This would enable my child, who is deaf, to Bluetooth to his hearing aids. This means he can be a doctor if he wants to and that is his current goal. He wants to go to medical school. He is currently valedictorian graduating this year with associates so far!!

WoW, Bluetooth!?! I know you're very proud of him, as he should be of himself too!! I hope all is still going well, and he's still reaching for his goals! Wishing him & your family all of the very best life has to offer & beyond now, and for many years to come💯 🫡

I love it! The ability to move more freely... not having to lean over into a patient's personal space... and NOISE CANCELLING! This could literally save lives (and make my job just a little bit easier 😉).

I am extremely intrigued by this device. I used to work in Pulmonology and would have been extremely beneficial. Unfortunately I became medically disabled and housebound spending 24/7 in bed for the past 5 years. With my multiple autoimmune and connective tissue disorders this is a device that I need to look into purchasing. Thank you for this review!

It is really amazing. we dont need to lean over patients to hear their hearts or lungs. It is gonna be really helpful too by Patients that are isolated because of infections so we can hear their lunges from a distance. Thanx for the review

I've been waiting and watching for something like this - especially when the patient is in isolation. Like you, I haven't really liked the other tube-free stethoscopes that have been available so far. I would LOVE to receive this one! Thanks so much for the great information you provided. I'll definitely be watching many more of your reviews.

I love this idea. I have to wear hearing aids and every time I have to use my stethoscope I have to take them out of my ears, making it easy to loose them ( they cost 2500 and insurance doesn’t pay a penny). I am a hospice nurse and visit at peoples homes making it hard to hear things. I would love this to help me and decrease the chances of loosing my hear aids

    Nice video! A couple concerns/questions:
    - Why does everyone show chest auscultation with the stethoscope placed on top of clothing? Healthcare is a touching art and yet healthcare providers neglect to touch the patient's skin, even with the stethoscope! We discuss used off these advanced tools for auscultation, yet we don't optimize it by placing the stethoscope directly on the patient's skin! Doctors and nurses are guilty of this, because I've seen them numerous times! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Let's include pictures and videos of healthcare providers showing therapeutic touch, including with the stethoscope!!!
    - If we want to use these remote auscultory devices (e.g. isolation rooms) who will be the one placing the stethoscope on the patient? Another nurse or doctor will have to do so, right? The patient would not be able to do so, not know where to exactly place it based on what needs to be listened to (e.g. posterior chest, unless trapped on as pictured)!
    - Can the Stemoscope be used with other Bluetooth connected earpieces (e.g. Samsung Galaxy Buds, other Bluetooth bone conducting headsets)?
    - I recently purchased a Littmann Core Digital stethoscope and demonstrated its use and benefits to my nursing students. Other than the obvious tubeless advantage, any other advantages to investing in the Stemoscope?
    Thanks for an informative video!

It is absolutely fascinating. The advancements, historical commentary, and presentation were balanced perfectly. The latest device out has so many life changing possibilities. I have been a Cardiac patient since I was 19, am now 53 and just had another heart surgery last week. I cannot begin to tell you here the number and types of surgeries nor the many Cardiac devices I've been part of and watched develop. Tonight I am installing my new Bluetooth pacemaker interogater an advice on the old one I sent info with a mouse. I am linked to parts of my Cardiac team in this way making some of my office visits far less frequent. My husband has serious lung issues and I can see the wow possibilities there too. Some of our med appts are already done telehealth. I would love to look into this device further perhaps someday be able to procure one. Thank you for the great presentation. I saved it to my files.

I have a nursing scope I got in a thrift store. My mother was a nurse. Anyway I use it for listening to cat purrs, very nice, and now that I have a cat with asthma if his breathing seems loud I can listen and tell if it's louder than usual. Especially that I'm hard of hearing it's good to have. Of course I wouldn't diagnose anyone but I can call the veterinarian and take cat in for a listen by a professional.

Just curious if you’ve had the chance to use the EKO Core or DUO. If so, how does this one compare? I’ve used both EKO & DUO and am not that impressed with the DUO, but the EKO is awesome IMHO. It has much better filters than the DUO (especially the Pulmonary filter, which makes lung sounds amazingly easy to auscultate), so I wonder how this new one compares, since I really like the size of this.

Gracias doctor, pero el uso del stemoscope es riesgoso in a way. Any possible data breach o un robo del smartphone/tablet es demasiado risky.
Best way to make it work is to use it with institutional devices (phones/ipads) to reduce leakage of valuable data rather than being stored in your personal phone.
Siga pa’lante! Eres una inspiración para irme de PR una vez me gradúe de health information management de RCM por las oportunidades en el field como esta que presentas de los nuevos equipos electrónicos.
