@@anthonyhutchins2300 I don't personally care, but I can see how someone could compare it to cheating of sorts; in my experience, those people either have never stepped foot in a gym before or are inexperienced. I would only care if someone is claiming to be natty and isn't, if they were some kind of social media influencer. Promoting unrealistic and unattainable (without steroid use) body standards to their impressionable audience is fucked up imo.
That ending where he cried really shows how he has learned, changed, and grown into a better person after all that he went through in his criminal and prison days.

His story may have made it sound better than it was but ultimate respect for his humility at the end. This is a good guy.

@@doghead992 I'm not suggesting for a minute that he isn't telling the truth but all good stories are told with an element of exaggeration. When he broke at the end I realised that he had truly learned something from his experience and wasn't just telling a story.
I'm not so willing to forgive him, he did a lot of 'wrong' in his past.

maybe he started thinking, even then just for doing it in the first place he was a fool. people that go through this type of stuff, its hard for them they look back at the younger selves with disgust a lot of the time. and there is little help for them for the mental side of things in most countries. they are looked at as criminals and no matter how much they try to fix their lives they often end up in a hard place, no one wants to hire them, years of their lives lost. potential friendships families. a lot gets taken away from someone when their freedom is taken, not just the freedom.
When you start thinking about family, its brutal.
Locked away from your loved ones for a long period of time will break even the strongest of men.

Good for you for being willing to take a look at yourself. I know how hard it can be.
Therapy can be a great tool for helping to resolve internal pain and old injuries. It may take a while, and even be difficult or uncomfortable at some points, but once you resolve issues you can be so much happier. In my case it took years, but after a lot of work and self examination I have gotten to a point where I am much more happy, comfortable with myself, and understanding my thoughts/feelings than I ever was before.

One can still hear he has a stutter from time to time, but he's got it under control. Big respect for that.
I've got a sutter and it's quite noticeable on this guy. Could explain why he swears alot, as sometimes saying X makes Y easier to say, like a speech coping mechanism.
@@cheeseontoast9251 Yeah, he stretches the first letter of some words a tad of a second longer than usually to avoid stuttering, like ccccceiling. But I think he has it under control quiet well, since one only really notices it if he knows about the technique.

I usually insert the word "like" whenever I think that I will stutter. The word "like" really rolls off my tongue smoothly and and almost makes my stutter disappear

There's a reason these guys have bodies built like machines, and they use them (not to help old ladies over the street and to fetch little kittens from trees). Everybody talks like living a normal life with an average salary is better then being criminal. Coming out the other end alive and well is the biggest achievement big man. Salute
If you don't reflect, you project. He learned how his family was affected by his actions when he failed to reflect when he was younger. Glad he turned around his perspective. That's a man that has seen dark days, much respect.
Even a man who acts as tough as that can cry. Props to him for turning his life around.
Damn, him getting emotional after talking about being away from his family got me. 5 or 6 years ago I spent 40 days in jail. It sucked, but definitely could have been worse. The truly awful part was thinking about my dad's poor health and how I would handle it if something bad happened to him while I was locked up. It wasn't the violence or shitty conditions that kept me up at night, it was the realization that my stupid decisions had led me to a place where I became useless in every way. Luckily, feeling that way was enough for me to get my shit together and stay as far away from jails as possible.
What did you have to go for?
