Estonia really is just Finland 2: Electric Boogaloo. The Finnish anthem actually shares the same melody as the Estonian anthem! The only differences between the two anthems are their key signature and the repetition of the last four lines of each verse in the Finnish anthem. Estonia's anthem is called Mu isamaa, mu õnn ja rõõm (My Fatherland, My Happiness and Joy) and its lyrics were written by Johann Voldemar Jannsen in 1869. It was first adopted in 1920, relinquished in 1940, and readopted in 1990. The Finnish anthem was written by Johan Ludvig Runeberg, originally in SWEDISH! It was adopted in 1917 but was originally performed and written in 1848 for the 500th anniversary of Porvoo where Johan lived. GERMAN immigrant Frederik Pacius composed the melody!
When it comes to military and political history together, during the Estonian War of Independence in the late 1910s, Finnish volunteers went to help them win their independence. In the 1930s, Estonia engaged in secret military co-operation with Finland against the threat of the Soviets. And when Estonia was trying to join the EU in 2002, Finland fully backed them! In turn, Estonia was a big supporter of Finland's NATO membership.

They love nature, everything they decide to do will be done well, huge metalworking industry (for the size of the country), they're very well armed privately and as a state, very well educated, they're some of the best road drivers in the world and some of the best racing drivers are Finns, their point of view on life is almost philosophy. It just shows that in those forests, saunas and near those lakes they've spent a good amount of time thinking. Honestly every nation in the world could use some influence from them. Something to point out about Finland in Sweden's favor is that the smallest region of the country is a group of islands called Åland and there, Swedish is the ONLY official language! It is also the only part of Finland that has a special autonomous region status and has a much higher degree of autonomy than the others with its own Parliament and local laws. It even shares a strange land border with Sweden on the island of Märket. Originally it was just split in half but when the Finnish side built a lighthouse on the Swedish side (though it wasn't formally), it resulted in an adjusted inverted S border in 1985 to still equally split. Their flag is neat too as it is a Swedish flag defaced with a red cross, with the red cross symbolizing Finland.
When Finland obtained independence from Russia in 1917, many Ålanders feared they would lose their Swedish culture and language which led to the native population starting a movement to unite with Sweden. This led to Finland, Sweden, and Russia appealing to the League of Nations, who decided in favor of Ålander autonomy (and this autonomy was reaffirmed when Finland joined the EU). Starting in the early 1920s, Åland unofficially used a blue and yellow three-striped flag (two blue stripes, one yellow) until it was banned in 1935 by the Finnish government. In 1952, new laws gave Åland the right to make its own flag, which it adopted in 1954.

I loved the nice weather, the extremely friendly and social people, the delicious food, the nice beaches...no that was Spain.

Finland and Estonia are different countries. Finland is a Nordic country and Estonia is a Baltic country.
