- If you are a bike commuter, but you haven't done any bike touring, you may want to give it a try.
I have been invited on a bike tour with my boys. It was a strange, but completely transformative experience. - Спорт
Bike touring is great, fast enough to get places and slow enough to be fully present 👍
Absolutely
there is nothing better than realising that you can go places and do anything under your own power!
So true! Pedal on!
I really appreciate what say about enjoying creation. To me this is what biking facilities at its best.
Absolutely!
Hey BikeCommuterHero! Great video! I think the best thing you said was that initially, you were anxious to hurry up, and get to the "destination". But then you realized there was no "destination" and it was a great feeling! Good for you! Sometimes when you live a busy life, it takes time to change your brain from GO-GO-GO all the time. I'm glad you mentioned it because that is very important. Also, I'm glad you got to ride with your sons and brother. As your sons become men in the future, they will always remember their times spent with you. I wish you and your family all the best! keep making great videos!
Oh I'm so glad you fell in love with bike touring! I remember my first time. My friends want to go to Baguio City which is a city in the mountains. We were inspired because other cyclists were making RUclips videos about their journey and it was a lot of fun.
It's incredible that the same type of activity can be experienced in such a different way. I'm so glad I tried it.
I do not own a car so every trip is bike touring
I like the way how you described the philosophical differences between touring and commuting, esp 'It's a way to explore the world and enjoy creation.' Choice words, the pace facilitates the observer effect, personally i think this puts me more in touch with my particular version of God. Good videos, thank you .
Glad you enjoyed it and made you reflect!
I commute to my train station in N. California on my Fyxation Third Ward ($ 600 ; made in China), 3-speed, baskets, etc. Shopping, etc.
That’s a lovely looking practical bike!
I do not own a car so every trip is bike touring in Alabama
Totally agree? Especially in Europe where you find many bike lanes and excellent views.
It’s not all perfect, but it’s much better than 20 years ago.
Why no helmet?
Well spotted. I only realized that I'd left it at home when I got to the meeting point.
