Grats on your LX450 purchase. Highly recommend you do the PHH (pesky heater hose) if the previous owner hasn't because that's one that will leave you stranded and it's annoying to do. Also, inspect for hardened hoses/ dry cracks/ pin holes/ or bulging around the clamps on any rubber engine coolant bypass hoses or the heater rubber hoses underneath the body. You mentioned the previous owner replaced the alternator 3 yrs ago and has a new battery so that's great. I will say that if it doesn't start one day then it could be the fusible link which is connected at the + terminal or the perhaps the contacts inside the starter are worn out. When you turn the key the check engine light should come on and that's how you know its working. The starter you could tap the side of it and if it starts or acts like it wants to start then its the starter contacts and those can be replaced. The last thing with regards to not starting is a transmission switch IIRC.

Great condition platform for a nice build. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
Thanks @dookie9728! It has been a blast so far. Slow and steady, but always making progress!
The 80 series is awesome! Love your 1st gen 4Runner as well, love to see some videos on it!

Seat gears are on our to-do list also.
