I feel like Boba Fett's journey is very poetic, making him a perfect star wars character because George Lucas "it's poetry, it rhymes". His life started surrounded by family, his father and even the clones, when he lost his father he turned to bounty hunting and he became a sort of lone wolf, working for Jabba and then when he "dies" and loses his bounty career he comes back, now with a tusken family who then he also loses, this time he feels guilt and with that guilt he tries to make another sort of "family", the people of Mos Espa who he swears to protect because "These are my people, I can't abandon them". Very poetic, very much star warsy in my opinion
And yet taking one of the most popular characters, who's whole deal is being the most bad ass bounty hunter in the galaxy and giving him his own series where not only does he stop being a bounty hunter, but is portrayed as a weak, bumbling oaf who relies on a motley assortment of hangers on to fix all his problems for him is quite the slap in the face.
@@chrishateley5582 the show was a slap in the face, mainly with what we saw him do in the Mandalorian, but the general idea of him moving on from his past as a ruthless killer for money to someone who has a heart again is nice
Temuera Morrison is awesome as Boba Fett. The show ended up on a strong episode, it gave me everything I wanted from a Boba Fett action-packed episode!
I knew since bad batch, that boba would duel bane, but even seeing it I was still on the edge of my seat and to see boba use the same tusken technique that thwarted him and use it against bane was payoff and good payoff boba is a fighter, he fought hes way out of the sarlaac and trained to fight with the tuskens, cad is the gunslinger quickest to draw
@@Dillypickle541 exactly. I really liked this payoff with his Tusken learnings. I would have no interest in watching him behave like the emotionless Terminator he always was in the EU Comics. Not even his scarce appearances in the OT imply that concept (including his ridiculous fall into the Sarlacc), only that he is a greedy mercenary. I much prefer to think of him as a character who did a 180 after a traumatic experience and re-learned the meaning of life outside his father's bounty-hunting mentality, had some issues adjusting to it, but finally triumphed as his own man in the coolest manner, while riding a Rancor! Finally he's a character now, instead of just "standing there, menacingly".
@@thestarkknightreturns Exactly thank you. I liked the show. I don't care what others say. They just want Boba to be a cold blooded killer and just standing and not saying anything like the originals...He finally became a character and a good one. I mean I never liked Boba untill his show.
@@quentin5017 100% agree. He's now WAY more interesting in my view than he ever was. I really like that he is now "honorable and dignified, but deadly and ready to go berserker". The series finale really paid off the series for me.

I really loved the show and give it a similar score because I am also a Boba Fett fan. The reason I wouldnt score the show with a ten is because it didnt emphasize in the concrete aspects of being a Crime Lord.
I liked the show except for those 2 episodes with Din. I payed for Disney plus to watch a boba Fett show, so seeing him robbed of 2 episodes where Bane could have been established and the stakes could've heightened makes me mad.
Amazing man. The show was great, although i was expecting a little more from it. You captured the character of Boba Fett in The Book of Boba very well. Great edit!!!
I think I’ll always be haunted by what could have been with Karen Travis’ boba fett, so I’ll never be able to appreciate this show…. But I will always love the man.
People hate on Boba's development but I absolutely love it. Boba wants to do right instead of just being a killer. He wants to be more than a simple bounty hunter. The Tuskens gave Boba a new purpose in life
What I love about The Book of Boba Fett is that it turns a fan-favorite from something of a blank slate to a fully fleshed-out character. And yes, you could say The Mandalorian played a part in that too. What I mean is that this show is a good deconstruction of how we see Boba Fett. He’s a talented bounty hunter and ruthless when forced to fight, but he’s not a monster. Deep down, he seeks to follow his own path, and maybe make a friend or two along the way. Sure, the show did some things that many people didn’t agree with, but I can’t overlook the fact that it gives us some insight into Boba Fett as a character, showing us that he’s far from evil or flawless.
@@Mac14329I liked the book of boba fett but I prefer the more brutal and ruthless version from the mandalorian death lies and treachery and when he worked for the empire but the book of boba fett in my opinion made the character better

Man IDK who decided to call the crime boss of Tatooine “daimiyo” but that’s fookin insane. Now Boba’s evolution throughout the films is awesome. The brutal merciless bounty hunter, feared across an entire galaxy is sentenced to a horrible long death inside the sarlacc. Then, he comes back as a myth, a legend, a story. He becomes the slave of some desert tribe, but proves himself as a disciplined warrior and learns their ways. He goes back to Tatooine to kill his former master’s servant and takes the throne as the new “daimiyo”. Daimiyo were, in real life, samurai warriors who controlled one or more provinces. It was a great honor to be called daimiyo. They were fearless and powerful, but extremely disciplined and wise. Bro is the fookin samurai of star wars.

Many people didn't like Book of Boba, but I loved it. It may look like they made Fett soft with all that "family and tribe" thing. I see this different - he's still a killer, but now he has a destination in life. He doesn't murder for money anymore, he fights for honor and his crew. He is now completely other man than he was. No longer a killing machine like Cad Bane, something better. Almost dying in Saarlac made him reborn. Jango would be proud of him. And I think Temuera Morrison, and every other actor/director of this show would be grateful for this edit.
