These parrots have been in the San Gabriel Valley for decades just like the peacocks. They were let loose from The Arboretum in Arcadia after they stopped filming Fantasy Island there in the 80's.
It wasn’t because of the non filming , it was a fire that broke out and the arboretum worker , cut the net open
They have been around way before the 80s.
Yes.. so true... neat little town.
WTF?
human beings have little chance of justice in this lawless hell hole of a city what chance have the parrots got
If cops don't respond to actual humans being attacked they show dam shouldn't respond to this non human attack.
"The elites don’t want you to know this but the ducks at the park are free you can take them home I have 458 ducks."
Boy stop
He's just doing real life Pokémon.
Call the officials if you see any gnats !
Non emergency number? Who has 2 hours to wait on line to actually talk to someone and it will take maybe 24 hours to get some respond if any !!!
They all over temple city ,San gabriel !!!
i have flock of hundreds of the critters swarming during tree nut harvesting time ... in a matter of a couple of noisy minutes , they strip the tree bare .. and move on....
What if it was his own pet parrot
Apparently that's what he needs to do to live a fulfilling and satisfying life.
Thank God she caught the video footage, I'm sure there will be a way to charge him with something, at least a fine, the city likes free money right? There it is, now will they let it sit on the table, doubtful
Samantha you sound hurt, was it too graphic for you?
Leave the dinosaurs alone.
Was the parrot black?
It's free money 💰, parrot 🦜 expensive 🤯
These parrots belong in the wild, flying freely in the sky. They are not supposed to be in someone’s prison cage.
Tell that to petsmart
Maybe he's eating them
He's going to sell them
Maybe selling them?.
Apparently green parrots taste like chicken.
So does Soylent Green.
@@wopalongcassidy It’s people man!!! Solent Green is People!
yes, but flavored like chicken@@UnstoppableYaris
People have always tried to catch these parrots 🦜 They migrate to LA every year. Just leave the birds alone folks. I know they’re pretty but look don’t touch.
They are loud, but that's no reason to eradicate them or capture them!
Um,what
Earning a living.

Just another feminist not minding her own business
She ain't never been to the zoo. You think those animals volunteered their life for exploitation. It's so much that I can say about different things she said but I won't. I'm just gonna leave it alone.
Perfectly Fine way of capturing birds alive. But this is a Fish and Game issue. Those birds are state property.
No, the parrots are falling out of the nets and getting run over.
You’ve never lost the life of a fish bringing it in? In deep water bringing up fish there eyes pop out! And you don’t know what you have on the hook until it’s up.
@@scottw550Also, I’m in no way advocating in favor of capturing these birds or the netting of birds over city streets. So “perfectly fine” was an over statement.
😝😝😝RELAX KAREN😝😝😝
Those parrots have been there for years and years and years. That is not the first person to try and catch parrots.
Yummy bbq parrot 🦜
Animal Abuse
Is this news worthy? Asking for a friend
YES! I'm fkng outraged and I shared the story. This is animal abuse.
No, it's not.
aren't those parrots invasive?
Yes, but so are cats. Humans have done more damage to ecosystems then any parrot possibly could however.
They are not. They are just non-native.
so are horses and cattle and many other things...you would have a hard time feeding yourself if it weren't for others bringing your food to you@@ZackSmith-ps9ut
You're thinking of Mexicans.
@@ZackSmith-ps9ut cats are invasive - these parrots the man specifically is catching are not. They are non-native, but technically not invasive - they don’t compete with the natural ecosystem and can thrive in their own niche without threatening anything else.
HOWEVER, Quaker parrots *are* considered invasive and hence are not allowed as pets in CA. There is a wild population due to released pets and if I’m remembering correctly they damage native trees for their nests.
What is he doing wrong I don't see nothing that he did wrong a parrot
Wth
Parrot rescuer: "that is inhumane"
guy trying to save parrots: ????????
Are you illiterate? They state he leaves them in the nets and are often ran over and killed by cars. This dude is capturing wild animals - he could be killing them or hoarding them.
These parrots are a nuisance anyway. I used to live in Pasadena, and they would cause a stir in the early morning hours.
Our neighbor just got 2 of them and put them in a small cage together, and now they squawk from sunrise to sunset, and the owners are either deaf or don't care about the constant noise. It's definitely a nightmarish animal to have next door to you.
Yall complain about free flying birds but dont say a damn thing when yall eating chicken
Dinner is served!
Why is it ok for Israel 🇮🇱 to have a Border Wall but not the USA 🇺🇸 Asking for a friend.

Illegal trapping .
looks like how they catch skip jack tuna in the ocean, what's the problem?
@@neckarsulme the state regulates the trapping/hunting of all wild birds. You must be permitted. If you can’t get a permit for that species if the species is not listed it’s illegal
were you that guy in school?@@glass1258
Girl, people do crazy awful stuff all the damn time. What rock do you live under?
Not cool. I'm with her.
People killing crimes wars but I guess birds are more important
Yes they are
Absolutely because animals are 1000% much more better than humans. They are innocent living souls they don't cause any harm to no one well humans on the other hand do damage towards each other.
Wait till those parrots settle in your front yard tree and it sounds like a constant loud sceahing noise 24 hrs...these escape fromm arboretum near pasadena 10 years ago in wind storm. I say get rid of them all.
