Thank you very much for making this video. I fell from height four months ago next week and landed, with my leg bent, on my knee cap resulting in a PCL injury, prepatellar bursitis (still somewhat swollen) , and a medial meniscus tear. This video cleared up some of the questions / misconceptions that I had regarding knee structure. Thanks again.
Thank you Dr. centeno for your simple and precise explanation. The images are very useful in the interpretation of patients images. You mentioned about the process of healing. Could you please show how to follow up with serial MRIs and what to look for? Thank you
I wish, the result of mine would be read by you so I could know it a.s.a.p :( I'm so restless awaiting the result of mine. But from this video, I will check mine soon after rewatch it once again. Thanks for the video
MRI report (I believe written badly) says acl is deficient and consistent with acl chronic acl tear. I have no idea what that wording means but if it is partial should I do this stem cell stuff? If the tear is very old (years ago) does that make stem cell useless?
maverick Malik, There is no evidence that meniscus surgery helps, but there is evidence that it is a net negative. Please see: www.regenexx.com/should-i-get-meniscus-surgery/
this is my mri report and photo of the acl in it my question is : is this tear is partial of complete and if partial can we know how much is torn ? does it require surgery ? thanks for you drive.google.com/open?id=0B6yvBaGfsmysU0VGbncwVlhYTzA drive.google.com/open?id=0B6yvBaGfsmysUUJ5RWoxbFBBQWc
Tony K., There is specific criteria for Candidacy for our groundbreaking Perc-ACLR stem cell procedure, but yes, we have successfully treated many full ACL tears. Please see: www.regenexx.com/another-perc-aclr-procedure-sucesss-acl-tears-stem-cells/

Why dont when you get a acl reconstruction dont they just bolt two grafts in so if you tear one you still have the other
Nope that's not what happens.

so you saying that fully torn ACl can be health by stem cells injection?
Tony K., There is specific criteria for Candidacy for our groundbreaking Perc-ACLR stem cell procedure, but yes, we have successfully treated many full ACL tears. Please see: www.regenexx.com/another-perc-aclr-procedure-sucesss-acl-tears-stem-cells/
What wrong to my knee.
my mri shows me "near complete rupture of acl" dose it cure by regenxx injection..
We would have to look at the MRI images to decide. We look at very specific metrics to determine if the procedure has a good chance of success.
