So people forget there’s a huge central area in California known as the Central Valley and it suuuuucks. It gets hotter than Texas, however it is dry, it’s mostly ag and manufacturing industries, it is extremely conservative and there is nothing fun to do. You have to travel hours to go to the forests or beaches, and traveling with those gas prices and hotel costs… forget about it. I left California because I couldn’t afford the lifestyle I wanted, to live in a metro area. Yes, California is beautiful if you can afford it but Texas is still a bigger bang for your buck.

I live 10 miles from the ocean and 1 mile from the Baywater I mean native I have visited other states and I have always loved California best but I am now out priced I have to leave otherwise I too will become like the homeless population so I’m forced out of the state of California.
I think people are rude and nasty to think that they are God and they own the state of Texas. We are relocating. We are migrating because we don’t have a choice in the matter. Trust me if we did, we would stay here. We’re not excited about having to go to Texas because we’re not used to the environment.
I am not coming to change Texas. it already is liberal population because you’re already doing things like they do in California, which I absolutely disagree with

I grew in Texas and moved to California for college and stayed. The weather is pretty amazing... we complain when it moves to the upper 80's and it's amazing that you can surf in the morning and snowboard in the afternoon. It's truly diverse. I moved from Texas because I experienced a lot of racism growing up. Today, when I visit family, it does feel less, but in the small towns I grew up, I still don't feel completely comfortable. We had people come by our house and yelled racist comments to being bullied in public. I'm hopeful people become more tolerant and accepting, and again, I think is has gotten better.

If it says Taqueria Jalisco that means it comes from the Jalisco region.

Not trying to sound racist but do you think any Muslims or middle eastern people live in Texas? Now hear me out first before you judge me!
I watched Gabriel Iglesias (aka fluffy) video about when he performed in the Middle East. Based on what he said, they say that it’s super hot in the Middle East, everyone has a hot face cause it’s hot, give them air conditioning and they’re happy. If a middle eastern person were to immigrate to America and look for a place to live, it seems like Texas would be the last place they’d wanna live. If I was living in a super hot place all my life and I had a chance to move elsewhere, I’d pick somewhere cooler. Unless they’d feel more at home in Texas (shrug).
