I gotta catch up on your videos. Had a Hard drive die on me and lost all my footage so been trying to get that back. Looking forward to binge watching to catch up!
@@MagisterialVoyager I have a second PC that i use to record my games with. Its older and I only use it for the recording and some light edits. The 2tb hd I had in it is about 10 years old and it started acting up a few weeks ago so I figured it was going out. I managed to back up some of my really old footage from games that are no longer available but all my newer stuff (all my WuWa footage)didnt make it. Im waiting on a new HD to be delivered and im gonna take the old one and see if anything is salvagable this weekend. It really sucks cause I was working on a new video and was hoping to have it done this week. But, set backs happen. Im sure Ill find something positive out of this.
@@EverlongEditz I feel like Clouds is often the best way to go, but they can be quite pricy and it's not perfectly safe anyway. At the end of the day, indeed, we can only do our best. That's why my method on this channel has always been record, immediately upload, and delete the video on my iPad Air because homegirl needs her rest for carrying my entire gaming life. I don't miss the time of having to juggle various videos and whatnot... unless I'm in a uni. I did a Video Journalism subject on my master's, BUT they gave me tons of Cloud storage with my university email and I have access to editing studio with massive screen and storage (my postgrad uni is loaded, LOL, and I could only afford it through a fully funded scholarship AKA free, sob sob).
@@MagisterialVoyager I like cloud storage but, I'm old school so I prefer to keep copies on hand. Call it O.C.D. I guess. I have recordings I did on a VHS recorder from when I was a little kid. Sometimes I like to go back and see what I have been able to teach myself. Gives me inspiration to keep learning. I never got the chance to attend University so most of what I know is Self taught. Its amazing to me what people can accomplish when they really enjoy something.
@@EverlongEditzHahahaaa, you do whatever feels right for you. It’s so cool that you got to do the VHS thing! My family was too poor around that era, but I got to buy some cassette as a teen. uwu Higher education is not for everyone. It suits me and I like it, but such is my life. It’s fantastic that you’re self taught! I did that myself for the majority of my English ability. You’ve taught yourself very well. I still remember your graphic settings definition info and how concise and easily understood they are. uwu ✨
