Hi Chad thanks. Getting my drone through international customs in Vietnam was quite easy as it was in my carry on backpack with all of my other camera equipment. Although when flying domestic around Vietnam I had problems. I recommend to have your battery power low and only carry 2 when going through customs.
Thanks for the info! What airport did you arrive in and what drone? And do you think I would have any trouble going through customs with a phantom because its so large and obvious?
Hi I have landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport which is the main airport of Ho Chi Minh City South Vietnam. I have a Phantom 4 which was ok to carry on through customs. As mentioned make sure the batteries are flat and just carry 2 only. You should be ok
