- I was very glad to see that the fuel pump was no longer leaking and that the lower unit passed the pressure and vacuum test. However, it still has issues with no water coming out the tell tail.

Very helpful and I would consider you thorough
very good video! i have the same outboard, and it needs a lot of work. i know she runs, but doesnt pee and have gas probles too
Yea hey thanks for watching and commenting. This little motor has been a problem child but you have to expect problems with motors this old. I corrected the pee problem in the final video in this series so be sure to check out all the videos for this motor, one or more might solve your problem as well.
I am working on the same model and cannot figure out the throttle linkage do you have any photos of the engine with flywheel taken off
Sorry I do not.
Hello.
I ´ m in France.
I got same engine. It runs but some parts need to be changed.
Serial number give nothing.
Were can i find parts and technical revues ?
Capital HPSYSTEM 89… you’ll be able to find everything you need at www.marineengine.com
You can purchase a service, manual and parts. You’ll just need to look up the horsepower and year. Then cross reference any part numbers and search on eBay as marine engine.com does not ship out of the country
