Debarya Saha my school played this too that’s why I’m here bc I had to write about what instruments we heard and now it’s hw for me :/ bc I didn’t finish it-
We did too but only played the 1st movement though. The 2nd is the best.
As I listen to this , I try to imagine what is happening- Are there scenes of the landscape as the train passes or is it the movements of the train? Or both? Is it passing through night and day? Are there scenes of the people boarding, inside or as they depart? I want to see this in a video
I think it's a great performance with a high level of understanding of the music

Why did the Tuba take the solo down the octave in mvt. 3?
I know this piece made Eric famous, but he is a much better chorale composer.
