Thanks John, I am your student since 2020, by then you had only 2k subs, now I also started a RUclips channel this year I have 1.2k subs. I learnt most of the tricks on this channel, thanks God bless you
I am a young artist myself, and this helped me get some of the tools that I need to make my art.. well.. MORE REALISTIC! (I post some of my art onto RUclips) :) thank you for this it really helped me :)
Thank you so much for this tutorial. It was very detailed and precise to how to achieve hyper realistic portraits art. I will definitely buy the erasers suggested.
Boss nice work, ur tutorials keeps me going 😂❤❤❤🎉, more grace, ur work always inspire me, I will like to learn a yarn sketch, am trying to draw a sweater I just got stock 😢.
This video just cheered up my mood in the library....The drawing is just wonderful....it made me show my teeth to the entire library amd now everyone thinks I'm reading something interesting than what they are reading😁
I have to say that the editing and production on this video is outstanding! The content is top quality and i feel as though even i could make skin look realistic in my drawings. Thank you for sharing your talent and for giving me inspiration to keep trying to improve my own artwork! Edited for spelling, i have fat fingers lol.😊
Well just shade the skin normally. Start lightly and progress to dark. But when it's time to draw the pores you're going to need some pencils, charcoal or at least graphite, charcoal dust can't do much In drawing those little pores.
I am so happy you amde a recent video i have watched all yiur RUclips videos and thye really helped. Can I use the electric eraser instead of the mono zero eraser?
I love looking at art on yt and just discovered you today. When I watch your videos I start to glow. Only then comes the reality. Daughter says daddy grind me a unicorn please. I take the pen and no one can tell afterwards if it's a fat fish or bear 😂 Yes exercise it should be one sometime the solution. But sometimes I think if it should click now, I'm left out 😂
This is the best explanation i have seen on skin pores, i really appreciate you for making this video but pls recommend papers i can use for skin pores drawings, i have been having issues with drawings by using the wrong papers for this type of shading
Hi bro. Your videos are really helpful for me. Can you do a tutorial to shade dresses and other accessories. Looking for more from you - Lots of love from India 🇮🇳 -
Im afraid of using charcoal pencil, I've been making all my drawings with graphite, but sometimes I draw the hair or dark area with charcoal pencil and it turns out to be brown, contrasting from that of Graphite pencils pls dear can you recommend charcoal pencil
I am a new subscriber . I really like your tutorials. But the only problem I am having is buying those tools . 😢 Immediately I get all those tools I will start putting your tutorials into practice 😊
The ones at the end of the video or the reference I drew from. The reference I drew from is from Pinterest. Just search "skin pores" , it's a popular image
@JasonLegendaryArt owesome . truth is i have come from far . from nothing to kinder better. Thats promising but whats discouraging is that there is a long way to go....i believe am good but my materials have failed me, mostly my type of paper.... Its realy dificult to minimise noise in my art work and make smooth skin tones...and my drawings appear better with naked eyes than on camera....am realy confused which is true . should i trust my eyes or the camera lense
Poor quality of paper is one thing that can ruin an artwork and can also kill motivation. You can be cheap on other things, but you can't skip paper. And any progress is progress and that's good. Infact it's great, the goal is to be 1% better than yesterday. And I would say that as long as you took the photo of the drawing well, that photo can also be a guide to see areas you need to fix in the drawing.
Lol,i draw a super smooth face with little Black marks and they would end up liking it but i don't ! I really get bored coz sometimes it gets messed up and there's no way I'm to rub the marks and reshade it the way it was!😪😔
@@JasonLegendaryArt 9B graphite powder is as dark immediately. No layers upon layers necessary. Having done this for years now it's not a big deal. If shine is a problem, change the angle of your light and/or the angle of your canvas/paper. 🤷🏻♂️

This is the best explanation i have seen on skin pores, i really appreciate you for making this video but pls recommend papers i can use for skin pores drawings, i have been having issues with drawings by using the wrong papers for this type of shading

Pls ans meee..
Keep watching and you will find out more
One question do the paper texture really matter, or you can use any paper to draw realistic drawing
It does, I try to go for something that has a relatively smooth surface. But not too smooth. It being thick is also recommended
What's the 3rd tool? Some type of eraser. I couldn't understand and it's not in the description
Thanks for being my teacher
It's my pleasure
Bro I don't have a tombo erasers. I only have the electric eraser. Can I use only it.
Yeah, use what you've got 🤜🤜

You can get just as dark with graphite powder. Ijs
Wouldn't be be as easy and quick. It would require layers upon layers and don't forget the shine. Oh the shine 🤦🤦
